Thank you for the Samsung smart tv app on their hub, but it can only stream 480p without buffering.
Please fix whatever is wrong with the Twitch Samsung TV app available on their hub. The Twitch app works fine on our Sony and LG tvs, but on the Samsung (my main tv) it can't stream over 480p without buffering. I've went through every trouble shooting thing under the sun, including with their techs. Reinstall, uninstall, reset, one foot in, one foot out, did the hookie pookie and turned it all about. Nothing helped. I'm also a Twitch streamer and like to watch parts of my streams with my family on that tv. Think of the children...
I've tested every variable that I know to test, that they knew to test, and their techs recommended I try to contact you guys because they don't give a rip I guess and thought I somehow can do better than Samsung at getting your attention. Seems legit.
I know you guys are probably busy, but an actual well performing working app on Samsung TVs would be a good thing I imagine for the platform. 'Merica

Yes I’ve just now found out about this app. I have the SAMSUNG UN75NU8000FXZA (2019 120hz model-discontinued). I have to leave all streams on auto for the app to function.

I as well have this issue. To stream twitch on my TV I have to connect both TV and my PC to the same network, then use Steamlink (free with steam) to broadcast my desktop to the TV in 1080p, then open up twitch.tv in my browser and set it to full-screen. Then I can enjoy full-screen 1080p twitch on my TV, however, I do not think it's 1080p 60 as it is on my PC.
I do not understand why I have the resources to broadcast from my computer to my TV while playing twitch streams on my computer in 1080p60 but the app cannot seem to load 1080p60 on my TV without constant buffering.
I've heard that the network (LAN) port on the TV is only 100 mbit (12.5~Mbit) ethernet, and the WiFi connection is probably 144mbit, but i cannot imagine that twitch is using more bandwidth than 12.5Mbit/s.
This is a conundrum.
