Add different chat options to Twitch app on Amazon Fire Stick

Like the recent IOS upgrade, I think it would be awesome to be able to toggle the chat on the Twitch firestick app to have a black background, as well as being able to toggle it to be transparent and overlaid on the right/ left hand side of the stream you're watching making having chat open on a TV much more enjoyable

Please add this. YouTube Streaming on their Firestick TV App has "Onscreen chat" with the stream completely filling the TV screen. They do not make the stream video small like the TwitchTV app on firestick. This ruins the experience.

I hate that how it just shows "download mobile app to text chat" as well. what is the point?

Please do more with the chat. I really want to watch the chat while having the stream in full screen!

Your suggestion for improving the Twitch interface on Firestick is really interesting! The ability to switch the chat background to black or make it transparent with an overlay on the video on the right or left side of the screen will add comfort when watching on a TV. Such improvements require a thoughtful approach to UX/UI development, especially when it comes to mobile and TV applications.

Be able to chat from the TV when watching live streaming on twitch app. Be able to type, be able to send emotes, and be able to send gifs.

I really want to chat with the amazon fire stick! I shouldn't need to load a web browser on my PC while gaming and watching twitch!

Bumping this because it's almost 2019 and it's still not possible to properly chat with this app.
    I don't want emotes, I want text!

I've also noticed many vids/highlights/etc posted on the channels don't come up to watch on the app.

Please let me chat more than emotes! I'm subscribed and can't even talk to the person.

I can’t even comment on my chat when I’m watching on my tv and Firestick. I can only send emotes.
