I used to think Chromecast didn't work well on Mac or wasn’t even compatible with macOS. Honestly, I didn't really need it since I usually watch movies and shows directly on my Mac. But then I thought it wouldn’t hurt to have Chromecast set up on my laptop. So, if you have a Mac and are clueless about setting up Chromecast, check out this article https://setapp.com/how-to/set-up-and-optimize-chromecast-for-mac . I can't remember why I thought they were incompatible. The setup takes just 5-6 steps and a few minutes.
