Add reliable API support for checking whether an extension is currently active as a panel/slot for a broadcaster
As a Twitch Extension developer, I need a reliable way to determine whether my extension is currently active in a broadcaster’s visible placement (for example, as a panel/slot), so I can avoid generating broken extension links and can filter/sort channels based on whether the extension is still actually active.
Current problem:
My product allows broadcasters to create links to the extension on their channel. However, if the broadcaster later removes the extension from its active placement, or it is no longer active as a panel/slot, those extension links become stale or broken for viewers.
