Monitor and Restrict User commands as API endpoints
4 chat commands that would be great to have as API endpoints:
/monitor USERNAME - Start monitoring a user's messages.
/unmonitor USERNAME - Stop monitoring a user's messages.
/restrict USERNAME - Start restricting a user's messages
/unrestrict USERNAME - Stop restricting a user's messages

More tools can be helpful. The reasoning behind this from PirateSoftware channel I would prefer to see a Shadow Ban option directly to prevent users from knowing they are restricted and not have mods get spammed by restricted users messages.

As someone who hopes to have custom automation using tools outside of Twitch's native solution, having these endpoints included would be a great help to keep not only my stream clean, but also to help my future community remain a unified unit of entertainment and well-being. Please add these in.

Being able to essentially shadowban bots via commands would be interesting and lovely. I 100% support this.
However, I'd also like to see an added feature for moderation teams. Being able to toggle visibility of restricted chat messages would add some convenience for human moderators.

Streamers and their communities would truly benefit from this addition as it would allow them to have an extra level of control over the spam/bad-actors in their chat. Automating would allow the issues to be handled automatically, allowing the streamer to focus on their content and community building.

Honestly as a Streamer, this would be very useful to help weed out people that might not be outright causing issues.
Very good idea and would be very useful!

Why is this not already implemented? Pls fix

This would help reduce the amount of malicious spam in chat by enabling chat moderation bots to shadow ban rule breakers without them realizing and creating new accounts constantly.

I know that this feature has started, but being able to do chat commands for this would be very helpful in tracking comments.

Having these accessible for a streamer bot to automate shadowbans with would allow moderators to be able to have time to investigate suspicious chat members without alerting said member and elevate any issues to the appropriate staff/authorities. This would help make chats safer across the platform.

This would be amazing to gain data on bots/spammers in order to create a more reliable automod.

Any tools that help us prevent or restrict users from harming someone or ruining the stream are welcome! Love this idea!

This is a real thing that sounds good to bring power for a streamer to manage it's chat.

This would allow for better filtering of spam bots in chat without allowing the attackers to know their messages are not visible
