Bot auto follow a channel
With the removal of the Follow Create endpoint.
A "non moderation bot" can no longer be automatically added to a channel.
The owner of the bot would have to "login" to the account and manually follow the channel(s) the bot joins.
A "non moderation" bot doesn't run moderation commands, so giving it "mod" wouldn't make sense. (Which would bypass the follow requirement)
Please provide a way to "authorise adding a bot to a channel" that will auto follow the bot to the channel. For this purpose
This could be similar to how Discord does bots, where to add a bot to a server, you need an oAuth flow, and then on compleition of that flow lets the bot in the server.
So in this example, I login as barrycarlyon I grant the bot access to my channel using scope "bot:allow" this auto follows that bot to my channel.
So the "follow" is initated from my website and the channel authenticating in.
And I've authenticated "my bot" to my clientID, and the target channel to my clientID.
This essentially sets it up, so that the destination channel triggers the follow.

I'm a moderator and today my streamer got a lot of followers but we verified the accounts and were just bots, we were trying to ban them and remove them but we don't know if a report is needed to be send to avoid any action by Twitch against the channel. If someone help us with this, would be helpful.

a note for two things that came to mind with this, (wither useful tools, or bad practices, I leave to the reader).
The first is the ability to use the list of follows by the bot as a way to see what channels the bot is supposed to be in (or at least as a way to compare with the back end's list).
The second is for streamers to use the list of follows to see if a bot is a "good bot" or not. -

"You never once accidentally noticed your own personal ability to by-pass follower mode?"
No becuase I can't (when using the Website), I don't use third party apps to chat with (where the bypass appears to be in place).
For example: https://imgur.com/a/QTnI0E8 I cannot chat in sodapoppin's chat on web, where I don't follow them.
And based on testing/discussion in Discord, if you are connected "as a bot" or "third party chat app" then verified bots can bypass this rule.
