As mentioned earlier today on the TwitchDev Standard Output broadcast, we are moving this suggestion to "planned." We appreciate everyone's patience with this one. Although it sounds simple and we see the value, there were a number of underlying complexities to consider before we had confidence in a path forward and providing a response. We will provide another update when the endpoint is available for testing.

We’ve released an update today that addresses some of the feedback in this thread:
- You can now once again highlight and copy messages for easy translation, raid message organization, and general copypastas
- Clicking into the chat will not immediately open the reply function. On hover, the reply button in the top right of the message will initiate the reply
As it’s been a few days, curious to hear whether the initial feelings and experiences have changed!

I really hope this is still being considered, as of now when Kraken shuts down on Tuesday there will be no way for any 3rd party application to obtain the emotes for certain emoteSets, as some of the IDs return nothing via Helix's `Get Emote Sets`.

Unfortunately because of this, it will look bad on developers, as unfortunately many users see a missing feature and fault the developers, despite not knowing the reasoning why a feature is missing.
