I'm currently working on a community server for my channel and would love a way to automate clip linking without needing to rely on either polling or users. This would not only be extremely helpful with letting me know of any new clips on my channel (as I currently miss most of them), but also with sharing them with my community

this would seriously help offload an app workload as the app only need to listen for the event vs checking Get Clips API every 5min-12hr or whatever

Duplicate of https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310213-developers/suggestions/40616533-clips-webhook would be wise to close this and redirect votes to the older request. (All webhooks applies to eventsub as eventsub was created after the tagged UV was made)

Yes, EventSub too!

This would be a great addition. I’m currently trying to build a server side application that helps track every clip I post in real time. Getting this info currently in real-time is expensive.

Clip Milestones: 1k views. 10k views 100k views 500k views 1m etc Any "sane" round numbers
Additional use case examples:
- easier to find hot points of a stream if a number of clips arrive/get created at the same time, however that relies on the offset being present https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310213-developers/suggestions/43272657-extend-clips-api-to-return-the-offset-start-point
- Moderation alerts, streamer accidentally shows address, or something "dumb" happens that need to deal with, or monitoring for malicous intent from users created bad clips -

Hi Barry, could you tell me more about what you'd expect in terms of notifications for view milestones? Would you want flat milestones (if so, what do you have in mind) or would you want to be able to be notified when views reach a specified milestone?

This would dramatically reduce the amount of queries to run against the API to sync and discover new clips.
