Live notification
Kraken allows you to set Game and Title.
Helix allows you to set nothing.
Aside from updating Helix to allow setting game and title, we'd like to be able to set the "Go Live Notification"

Will this be implemented? If it will be implemented, would it be possible to get an approximate timeline?

Use Case:
In my app there is a Stream Planner which allows users to create multiple "segments" which can optionally change the title, tags, and category along with automation tools for starting each segment. This lets the streamer plan out the content they want to do ahead of time and easily transition with a single click to the next part of their planned stream.
The stream planner also has setup and tear-down automation tools for starting and ending stream. Part of this sending discord announcements, but without this change in Helix the stream planner cannot fully manage stream announcements.
As a result most don't modify their twitch notification. Please consider allowing the Go Live notification to be programmatically managed so planning and announcing a stream can be fully managed by tools.

I was surprised to find that this still is not implemented. I'm trying to program a quick "reset stream to default" button that will change my title, tags, category, etc. back to normal after doing a one-off type of bonus stream, but changing the notification is impossible? Please add this.

Almost 4 years since this reasonable request was made. If this was implemented it would make stream setup even more seamless, pretty much everything can be automated except this.

Weird that it's not added yet as it's seems rather simple to add and decently useful for bunch of use cases. And it's very highly upvoted.

I'm automating my Twitch setup and being able to set the game and title through Helix is great. 👍🏾 I'd love to also set the "Go Live Notification" so they all fit together.

This would be great to do

Editors cannot change the go live notification which is a problem channels with a show-based content schedule where the editors are the ones updating the twitch.

This would be really useful.

Seems odd for it not to be part of the "Modify Channel Information" endpoint https://api.twitch.tv/helix/channels already. I really wish I could set it from the api like the other broadcast settings. I want to be able to make a plugin for stream presets since I stream a variety of things and it a pain to change all the fields before every stream.

Definitely needed

Any updates on this one? Would be nice to have for those of us who swap games regularly and already have systems in place to manage our category/title/tags.

Yes, please add the Go Live Notification to the api

i would really like this. I'm trying to write an app that would really need this ability

Oh, please, can we get this? This is important info to provide users with if they have notifications and it would make the life of streamers easier.

Would it be possible to receive a feedback on when this will be implemented - or a reason why this won't be implemented at all?

There are a couple of things we don't have in helix.
This is one of the importent things we need back in helix.

Why can't we do this yet, this is ridiculous

As this had been possible with Kraken, though undocumented (see https://discuss.dev.twitch.tv/t/api-for-custom-go-live-notification/13205/8?u=corben78), I'm missing this option to simplify my workflow.
I'd like to set the custom go live notification message only once, and then use it on other places, e.g. in custom notifications on other platforms.
