Live notification
Kraken allows you to set Game and Title.
Helix allows you to set nothing.
Aside from updating Helix to allow setting game and title, we'd like to be able to set the "Go Live Notification"

I'm automating my Twitch setup and being able to set the game and title through Helix is great. 👍🏾 I'd love to also set the "Go Live Notification" so they all fit together.

This would be great to do

Editors cannot change the go live notification which is a problem channels with a show-based content schedule where the editors are the ones updating the twitch.

This would be really useful.

Seems odd for it not to be part of the "Modify Channel Information" endpoint https://api.twitch.tv/helix/channels already. I really wish I could set it from the api like the other broadcast settings. I want to be able to make a plugin for stream presets since I stream a variety of things and it a pain to change all the fields before every stream.

Definitely needed

Any updates on this one? Would be nice to have for those of us who swap games regularly and already have systems in place to manage our category/title/tags.

Oh, please, can we get this? This is important info to provide users with if they have notifications and it would make the life of streamers easier.

Would it be possible to receive a feedback on when this will be implemented - or a reason why this won't be implemented at all?

There are a couple of things we don't have in helix.
This is one of the importent things we need back in helix.

Why can't we do this yet, this is ridiculous

As this had been possible with Kraken, though undocumented (see https://discuss.dev.twitch.tv/t/api-for-custom-go-live-notification/13205/8?u=corben78), I'm missing this option to simplify my workflow.
I'd like to set the custom go live notification message only once, and then use it on other places, e.g. in custom notifications on other platforms. -

If you really want to improve the developer experience just work on your UI/UX. If you improve it just like as this website (https://outdoorgearshub.com/best-convertible-mountain-bike-helmets/) then it will be easy for you to improve the developer experience.

Was hoping it already existed, but wow, seems this request has been waiting for a while.
Really would like to be able to set the Go Live Notification via the API.
[edit: so the reasoning in my case is that my chat bot has the ability to set up single commands to do the following:
* set title
* set category
* set tags
* add game-specific channel point rewards (and remove rewards that aren't in the current game's pool)-- basically "stream profiles" which could be per-game or even specific events for a given game. So I do "!profile apply Inscryption" and it sets up a bunch of Inscryption stuff
But I don't have the ability to set the "go live notification", which means I'd either need a generic one (which means less viewers check out the stream), or have to set the notification manually)].

Bump. I'm reminded again how useful this would be. I have a tool that updates title, tags, and category, but still unable to sync the title with the notification text even though they are exactly the same length of string.
