    Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!   These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed.     Pre-roll ads turn me away from new channels.

    Mid-roll ads turn me away from new channels.

    These interruptions do more harm than good for streamers, especially new streamers trying to build their communities. I understand that Twitch needs revenue, but driving away viewers is not the way to do it.

    The new Stream Display Ads are an improvement, but only as a REPLACEMENT for pre-roll and especially automatic mid-roll ads, not in addition to.
