Option to limit what characters can be used in chat (ie. ASCII-95)
Having an option to limit what character typesets can be used in chat.
For English stream, it could be limited to ASCII-95 (https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/C%2B%2B_Programming/ASCII)
If a character was used outside of this typeset, the whole message would not go through.
Any variation could work on this.

While this might seems a good idea, typeset characters can be encoded to bypass this.

Hope soon we ALL no matter if your new to streaming or a streaming vet we all can make this change happen we can not let up & we need to make twitch understand they need to listen to us cause without us streamers they have no platform or way to make $$$, Like any industry if you do NOT have the FANS backing then that business will doom & fail for sure.

I wish this was standard across the platform so this was accessible and people had the tools, and not be forced to rely on 3rd party software to do something very similar.

Again hate is something that should not be a thing, Hoping one day hate will be eradicated.

Signed! It's being abused by bad actors far too often and is a simple and straight forward way to limit harassment on Twitch.

ABSOLUTELY THIS! My suggestion was along the same lines - add an option to automod to only allow a chosen language. This one is more specific, though. We've had the option to select our spoken language on the dashboard for years, why not give us the option to restrict chat to a selected language as well? This would do so much to stop the bigoted hate bot raids marginalized creators are facing on the platform right now. Twitch pleaaaaase!

Other options for Emojis, other language typesets (ie. Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, etc), and general ASCII "art" symbols would also be a huge help to limit what languages are used or their typesets abused in chat.
