If a streamer is willing to risk promoting people to moderator without vetting them, then they deserve what's coming. I don't see streamers using adding folks as moderators as an actual viable tactic to avoid adverts. Limiting moderator numbers would only give us a new problem to contend with, let's not give them ideas now.

Adverts for moderators shouldn't even be a possibility. It directly impacts our ability to be effective, particularly if the streamer needs to address us verbally. I moderate for a few channels with a 'no meta' rule and I need to have full awareness of streams so that I may know what is and isn't meta information.
For me personally, I'm not happy to compromise on this. Adverts shouldn't be forced upon those who are here to help the Twitch community. There's no 'pre-roll ads are fine with me' or 'mid-roll ads aren't that bad'. Adverts that completely interrupt a stream at any point is time taken away from Moderators being effective.

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads! These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown. You can find out more information here: https://twitter.com/TwitchSupport/status/1603148201489580032

Having the stream title and game above the stream makes no design sense. The title being below the stream draws the eye of potential subscribers (customers) towards the subscribe button. The stream being between the title and the follow and subscribe disrupts this. Also the game being played is not prominent in what I've seen of the newer design which will prompt even more people asking the streamer what they're playing, another frustration for streamers and their viewers.
