Twitch, this is a horrible idea. It's going to set back tons and tons of streamers. Hype trains are for hyping up bits and subs. Can't you listen to your users for once in your life and leave it be?

Twitch

Hey guys!
There were some discussions that weren’t super applicable to feedback and I have gone ahead and removed them.
We super appreciate the feedback and want to keep hearing your ideas. Please just keep it focused on bodypainting/body art community and feedback around that, over feedback on specific channels/users.
If you have anyone who you are concerned about on Twitch or someone who you are worried about how they are acting on Twitch always feel empowered to report them so our team can further investigate the situation.

Hi, I know that this is a very late response, but we’re hoping to find time to address this issue later this year. There are a few steps we’ll have to take to solve this problem in a way that will work for all streamers, but we understand the severity of the issue.

We’re happy to announce that we have released an additional update to address these concerns. Streamers can now prevent their banned users from watching their livestreams. You can find and turn on this feature in the Moderation settings section of the Creator Dashboard, through the “Stop banned users from viewing stream” toggle.
Please note, this update 1). does not prevent users from watching livestreams from an incognito window or while logged out and 2). does not prevent users from viewing VODs, clips or highlights. We plan to explore extending the functionality of bans further, including but not limited to preventing VOD and clip playback.
In addition, we’ve made an update so that users that are blocked will now automatically be blocked from watching a streamer’s livestreams.
We will leave this thread open for your other points regarding preventing view of other content types and account creation.

This experiment is now closed as the new mobile redesign is rolling out to all users. Thank you for all your feedback during the experiment. We released an update to respect your autoplay settings in the feed, muted the feed on open by default (you can adjust this in your settings), and added mute functionality directly to the feed to give you more control over your viewing experience. We also enabled PIP over feed and have been continuing to improve app performance since launch. Learn more about the new app on our blog and continue to share feedback with us on the improved experience in the mobile category on UserVoice.

To those saying roll it back I highly doubt they're going to roll it back.
Twitch took away console chat. Nobody absolutely nobody wanted it. Instead of actually stopping the update they basically said Update the app or you won't ever be able to use it.
Trust me. I wish I could roll it back but wouldn't hold my breath.

This experience is really bad. First when you open it it automatically starts playing. That should be changed.
I also don't like how everything is layered and shoved to the side.
I also wish you didn't get kicked from whatever channel you were in just to see who might be live. I also cannot see any messages.

It's not just PS5 they messed up us PS4 users too. I don't understand why they shot themselves so hard in the foot. I don't want to be stuck watching only. My phone broke once and it was horrible. If my phone breaks again then what? Sucks to be you?

Sometimes yes, all the time no. I've had times where I'm streaming and the stream itself crashes. I've been online too so it's not a connection issue with that. It's not an online streaming problem either because it doesn't happen all the time. Ruling those out I'd say it's more of a Twitch issue.

First off, sweet name. Second. You used to be able to do something like that but Twitch removed it. People wanted it back but they didn't listen.
