Mods need to be able to raid, set stream titles, and unpublish VODs, not Editors. Mods need to be able to raid, set stream titles, and unpublish VODs, not Editors.
These are functions concerning the management of a live stream, and have nothing to do with Video Editing.
If a streamer even has a Video Editor, they're not watching, or managing the streams, so they have no need to do these things.
Further, most streamers don't understand why a mod can't raid out, or change titles, or unpublish VODs if something happens and the channel might be at risk in the moment, while streaming.
And trying to explain why they need to grant "editor" privileges…

unban delay or date in unban request When handling unban requests, we often think "ok you apologized, but your request was too soon regarding how long we estimate you should be banned"
I think having an option to set the end of the ban to a further date would help a lot. The interface could tell requesters that we have accepted their request and that they will be unbanned at the specified time

Canned responses for Twitch mods It would be fantastic if as a streamer, I can create canned responses for my mods to use in chat whenever someone violates the rules or has an FAQ. The benefits of this would be:
- Saved time for my mods as they won't have to type out messages
- Consistent messaging for my channel
- Easier to bring on new mods and less of a learning curve
Let me know if anyone has any feedback!

Create community specific moderators. I mod for team Tempo Storm. Every streamer is added to the Tempo Storm community which we use to promote who is online in our website or through apps or bots on discord/curse. My role is to ensure every team member, no matter which game they are playing, is doing well and chat is behaving. This is sometimes hard to do if the streamer hasn't met me through the team contacts, or some other reason. These streamers may be hesitant to mod me or others like me in the same role.
So my suggestion is to add a community based…

Hello Twitch Team, I would like to suggest more detailed permissions for moderators, focusing on Affiliate and Partner tools. Many streamer Hello Twitch Team,
I would like to suggest more detailed permissions for moderators, focusing on Affiliate and Partner tools. Many streamers struggle to manage items such as emotes, signup badges, Bits images, and Channel Points, but currently this requires full Editor access, which is often more than necessary.
A specific permission set that allows moderators to manage signup features, Bits visuals, and Channel Points rewards, without access to financial data or broadcast and security settings, would significantly improve workflow and channel security.
This would be especially helpful for Affiliates and Partners working with organized moderation teams.
Thank you for your…

I would like to suggest the creation of a new editor-level role or permission set designed specifically to help streamers manage Affiliate a I would like to suggest the creation of a new editor-level role or permission set designed specifically to help streamers manage Affiliate and Partner features, without requiring full Editor access.
This new role could allow trusted moderators to assist with:
Managing subscriber emotes
Managing subscriber badges
Managing Bit badges and Bit-related images
Uploading and updating images related to subscriptions and Bits
Managing Channel Points rewards (creation, editing, enabling/disabling)
Organizing Affiliate/Partner visual assets
At the same time, this role would not include access to:
Financial information or payouts
Stream key or broadcast settings
Account security or sensitive configurations
Many streamers rely…

A "temporary mod" via a simple command Similar to the /mod command for giving a sword, maybe a /tempmod command that will give someone mod for a specific timeframe (customizable would be nice, similar to timeouts) before they go back to a VIP or regular chatter?
This could probably come in handy if a streamer with smaller numbers is on the Front Page, if a small streamer gets raided by a much larger streamer, etc.
It would also save a lot of streamers from the extra step of having to "/unmod" after the stream since the mod sword would drop off once the timer is up.7 votes -
/followsoff Give moderators the ability to temporarily suspend the ability for new viewers/chatters to follow the stream. This would be a useful feature for when followbots and/or hate raids attack a channel, the mods could put /followsoff (or similar) in chat to make the follow button unavailable for that stream. This would prevent mass followbots, prevent hate raiders from following, and prevent the painful process of streamers having to break away from their content and deal with turning off alerts and other mitigation measures. The mods could then use /followson (or similar) to reactivate follows. (There could be a "default" where…

Allowing the editor to delete the moderators messages Allowing the editor to delete the moderators messages
because some moderators may make a mistake by placing a wrong link, mistakenly suspect it, or make a mistake in anything, so the editor can delete the message.

Add a reason on Suspicious Account Mods can flag a Suspicious user on chat, but the streamer can only see "Username flagged as Suspicious by Badiiin" for example.
it would be way more useful if the streamer could see the reason why I flagged the user. Writen by the moderator himself.
Example:
"Username flagged as Suspicious by Badiin, reason: Account created just a minute before the follow"

Confirmation prompt when banning from chat icons With the mod icons it's far too easy to hit the wrong user as chat scrolls. For deleted messages and timeouts this is a pain, but for bans it pretty much boots the user, so there should be a confirmation prompt.
Other ban methods aren't as prone to going wrong so don't need a prompt.

I believe the pinned message in the chat could be more visually prominent. Currently, it often goes unnoticed in busier chats. Options such I believe the pinned message in the chat could be more visually prominent. Currently, it often goes unnoticed in busier chats.
Options such as a different color, visual emphasis, or even positioning it right below the player would greatly help in communicating important announcements, rules, and channel information.
This would make things easier for both streamers and moderation, especially on large channels and during live streams with a high volume of messages.

Monitor Suspicious User Feature visibility Hey there, in our chat earlier today we had to time someone out for 10 mins. One of our mods marked them as Suspicious User so that it'd be clear when they're back from time-out and to give that a bit more attention from the mods in chat.
However can it be an option for the streamer to have the giant visual orange highlight be turned off? It happens sometimes where the streamer is actively trying to avoid them still after a time-out and it's better to be used as a mods-only highlight. With maybe a small icon or something…6 votes -
Edit pinned message Making pinned messages editable could be a useful feature. For example, a moderator might pin an explanation and later notice a mistake. Currently, this means the message must be unpinned, corrected, and then pinned again.
One way to solve this would be to allow the person who pinned the message to always be able to edit it. Alternatively, it could be made so that everyone — the streamer and all moderators — can edit the message.

Allow moderators to view chat history of suspended accounts Allow moderators to view chat history of suspended accounts
It is only making it harder for moderators when Twitch refuses to show chat history, saying that the account has been suspended.

Moving the ban and delete buttons Swap the place of the timeout and ban buttons to move ban away from the “delete message” button especially on the mobile mod view menu. To prevent incidental bans on users when trying to delete messages, and leaving a permanent stain on a users profile.
