1. Automod couple channel language to strictness

   Ever since July we had to scale down Automod to (lowest) on chat to lowest filtering, and yet the chat language German the automod manges to find and put serval perfectly normal words as held for review... As potential slurs...

   For example:
   - Every chat message containing "wenig / weniger" the German words for "few and fewer", "Kleinigkeit" the German word for "small thing", "Abonent/Abonement" the German words for "Subscriber and Subscription", "eine große Anstrengung" German for "a big effort"

   Is there any hope of Twitch connecting the set stream language to the the strictness Automod?

3. AutoMod Info Remains

   If another moderator hurries to Deny a message, all info pertaining to this message is lost as it removes itself. Could this potentially remain but just have the button removed and say (Actioned by ModeratorExample123)?

   This allows us to deny the message, add the blocked terms and then also timeout/ban the user in question.

4. Let certain roles use certain words in the word filter

   Hey peeps, I was wondering if we could have the blacklist word filtering system be where subs can say certain words but non subs cant. For example if someone says "can you add me?" I would want subs to say this but not everyone.

5. Cooking streams should be able to put cream in their title

   I want to become a cooking streamer and people have been telling me people are not allowed to put Cream in their stream title. I feel if they are a cooking stream they should be allowed to put cream in the title especially if they are making a boston cream pie, or cream of chicken soup Ect, But only if it is a cooking stream.

6. Ban the phrase "take your meds"

   The phrase "take your meds" is a seriously overlooked phrase that incites hatred, is disparaging, and implies a derogatory attitude towards neurodivergent people.

   Too often, people invoke mental health terms and phrases such as "take your meds" "that's so bipolar" "You're acting like a schizo"

   Perhaps a blanket ban is overreaching, but Twitch should take it upon itself, on its own platform, that typically champions people of neurodivergence, to stop such a toxic, hateful, vile expression and attitude towards those who may have differing perspectives, opinions, outlooks on life, or even represent an older generation of twitch users.

   It is absolutely abhorrent that a community that is widely known for being tolerant of people from different backgrounds, walks of life and viewpoints would allow such a gross oversight to continue with no educational tools or resources for people who might not understand why telling someone to "take their meds" is incredibly offensive, hateful, and prejudiced.

   Example 1: "I actually think Zelda 2 is the BEST game, it reminds me of my childhood."

   Offensive response: "Take your meds, grandpa."

   Example 2: "Ugh my Stream software is being SOOO BIPOLAR today."

   Example 3: "I like eggs & ham for breakfast"

   Offensive Response: "Ugh, that's gross, schizo."

   These are not gross exaggerations, but common occurrences every day across the internet. Twitch should hold itself to a higher standard, especially considering the mental diversity of its streamers and viewers.

7. Ban the word "pu*sy" and all variations from Twitch

8. `жид` should not be a censored word

   The word "жид" is a normal ukrainian word used by ukrainian poets and writers of all sorts throughout centuries, which is used to call people with jewish nationality. It has no offensive meaning at all, same as in polish.
   However, this word is offensive ONLY in russian and many ukrainian streamers are deleting chat messages with word "жид" being afraid to get banned by twitch moderators.
   Please make a clear statement that this word has no offensive connotation and can be safely used, because rn it looks like banning word "russian", many ppl find it offensive but it is just a name for a specific nationality.

9. Whisper locked automatically because I shared my phone#? No answers...

   Unsure what happened, but I cannot Whisper anymore.... Whisper says don't share personal info; got it, sharing passwords is st00pid. I sent my websites and phone number to those I wanted to collaborate with on coding projects for emoji.. There is nothing to appeal in the Appeals Center (appeals.twitch.tv), no notices given, and no information on any of these pages that I can find. I've searched and searched. I started this to expand my connections and play for the whole world. A basic tool has been removed from my kit, and I've lost messages forgetting it eats my Whispers. Please clarify what has happened, its term, and allow some kind of action to revert. Thanks for all the people who keep this place safe and productive, I'd like to be part of that team.     Addition to the New Shared User system, Adding to the Automod system.
    If someone is monitored in a chat im sharing with or shared with, and they come to my chat or to theirs, their message first message/Messages should be automatically AutoModded regardless of circumstances.

11. How to defend yourself on the channel

    ecently, we have noticed a number of malicious users posting obscene comments, reporting the channel, and having the channel suspended.
    When the distributor is busy or the moderator is unavailable, the channel is suspended before the comment can be deleted.
    We request an AutoMod for the number of characters in comments to prevent this behavior.
    If the number of characters is too large, we would like it to be put on hold.

12. Ban the word "Colonized/Gekoloniseerd" and variations of it.

    It's kind of crazy that this is even allowed to be used. It's used by the Dutch audience when there is Dutch content or a Dutch sounding person on stream.

    I get that they want to be like PogU a Dutch person but using "Gekoloniseerd" is not the appropriate way of doing it. Colonization has deep rooted history in ***** trade and the repression/massacre of native people.

    I would like to see Twitch put in changes to prevent this from being used.

13. Please do not permit the racist word S***o

    Hi there,

    As an IRL fishing streamer - The word S***o is a very common nickname used for Samson fish that I catch (Please just Google Samson Fish nickname, I don't wish to get into trouble). You will find that 99/100 Australians will call it this nickname, probably me being the only 1 who will now only refer to it as Samson. It is going to be very difficult to avoid audio capturing of someone using the nickname for this fish live on my streams, when I engage with random people in public.

    This only just came to light recently - I had it brought to my attention that this word is actually well known as a racist slur, mostly in the US, and it does not seem moderated on Twitch's end in the way of banning it from being used in clip titles, being used in Twitch usernames etc.

    I have not once used this word in a racist slur context. I have only used the word for this fish, but will now stick to the word Samson and add it to my automod banned words, which I suspect will confuse people, since it is not known well among my Australian viewer base as a racist slur.

    If it becomes against TOS to use this word and people are forced to change their usernames, then this may raise better awareness and people will avoid using this word altogether. Thank you.

17. The ability to create automod lists (similar to autohost lists) which would highlights users who have been banned in channels on your list.

    Along the lines of the new restricted user function, a good tool for creators and channel moderators would be the ability to see users who have current bans in channels you may care about.

    I.E. Similar to the autohost function, you could set a list of channels where you want to maintain similar moderation standards (this would be useful for communities such as NoPixel, content creator houses, and streamer friends, etc.). So Person A could put Friend B and Friend C's channels on their channel's automod list. Banned User 1, after being banned in Friend B and C's channels, decides to drop into Person A's channel. Upon doing so, in the Twitch mod view, the creator and moderators of the channel can see the user highlighted (similar to how first time chatters and monitored users are highlighted) with a message along the lines of 'This user has been banned in channel(s) on your automod list'.

    To avoid compromising the privacy of any given channels moderation, the message wouldn't necessarily let you know which channel the person has been banned in, just that they have been banned in one of the channels on your list. Additionally, it could be made into an opt-in function on both ends, so only creators who have opted in to the function would be able to create lists/be put on lists.

    This would make modding channels for creators who are a part of specific communities more efficient, and would further safeguard Twitch chat from any users who may create issues.

20. Problem with the chat words

    Hi,

    I had today a bug that my text wasn't allowed due "Your message wasn't posted due to conflicts with the channel's moderation settings."
    The mods and streamer didn't saw my message, even in the chat with a mod my text was blocked ... (also not in there mod messages)

    My two texts that were blocked are:

    • du willst ja Freitag vieleicht ein IRL Stream machen, Alina sagte gerade dass Bobi sein Kleidprobetag am Freitag wäre matta9Silly

    • wenn du für Alina was malst, würde ich nicht das Buschi mit dem Herz machen, da sie schon von jemanden diese Zeichnung bekam ;)

    if I even rewrite or delete the words IRL and Kleidprobetag it still blocked my text. Other texts weren't blocked. I still could write in the chat and I wasn't time outed ever at that streamer! The first text was even blocked on a direct message to one of the mods of that channel ...

    I don't know what the problem is, that this text was blocked :/
