A "temporary mod" via a simple command
Similar to the /mod command for giving a sword, maybe a /tempmod command that will give someone mod for a specific timeframe (customizable would be nice, similar to timeouts) before they go back to a VIP or regular chatter?
This could probably come in handy if a streamer with smaller numbers is on the Front Page, if a small streamer gets raided by a much larger streamer, etc.
It would also save a lot of streamers from the extra step of having to "/unmod" after the stream since the mod sword would drop off once the timer is up.

I would love to see this, perhaps it could just end automatically at the end of stream.
I'm part of a community of around 100 mods who support a group of around 20 streamers with a specific connection. Obviously we can't all be modded in every one of those channels, but the majority of us are trusted by the majority of streamers.
Occasionally one of the streamers will have an Urgent Situation, such as a huge raid, and those who are in our community of mods will often come to support them as off-duty mods. However we can't do much, as we don't mod for that specific streamer, and wouldn't really need to become a mod for them as 99% of the time we aren't needed. If the streamer could just /tempmod a few of them, we could help out and it would then automatically be revoked at the end of stream when it's no longer needed.

I've worked as a community manager for five years, we had wonderful volunteers who moderated the community. I'm not a fan of trail mods and mod 'light'. Everything that can be done by a mod can be undone by another mod. Besides that if you don't trust someone enough to be a 'real mod' why would you 'light mod' them or just mod them temporarily? One of the moderators in my old work team suggested 'trail mods' once and I told them the same thing + trailing always seemed like a fun thing to do for 'head mods' and 'admins' on Discord servers who can feel a power trip.
You don't want all of that in a simple text chat on Twitch. There are a lot of bots that can stop spammers, block certain words or emote flooding and they are free. When you play a game and someone is spoilering stuff or multiple chatters are arguing with each other, you just want someone to hit that timeout button as a last resort. We've all started like that and grew further in this role. Have faith in new mods and give them time and advice. No half rights, how will they learn how to use them?
