Yes, please! It's always being exploited by users who want to say bad/upsetting things without mods having any power to remove such hateful messages. Please fix this!

100% behind this. It shouldn't be possible to have messages in chat you can't delete.

I believe this can ALSO happen to where you can not delete the comments from a given user if they abuse the username change features. Post harassing message -> immediately click change username on another tab -> message can't be deleted.

The solution here should likely be just to purge the messages based on the message's message_ID the way the 3rd party API does, not do any kind of user information lookup.

I've had this issue a few times as well. It makes it hard for mods or myself to delete it.

I also agree with this. I have seen people entering in streamers chat and even my streams and saying rude comments. By the time myself or someone else realizes it the persons account already been deleted and unable to delete the comment.

We need this tool.

Seeing harassers ban evade, etc. has always been a pet peeve of mine, and as a sporadic content creator and former co-comm and stream mod, I can't let an obvious loophole stand. Please close this loophole.

seeing the harassments that this kind of evading has caused to the twitch communities and how it hurts people and people setting up bots to do this harassments, we need this tool to fix it

Agreed. Myself and several friends have been experiencing harassment through chat and find ourselves unable to delete the messages due to the user deleting their account immediately afterward.
