Previous experiments, such as the AI generated cover image for the Art category as well as the AI generated emotes, have demonstrated that Generative AI technology is fundamentally incompatible with the platform’s userbase. The strength of Twitch as a platform comes from the connection people make with the broadcaster, whether it’s a live event, someone playing a favorite game with an interesting twist, or even a fish playing a game in real time. Generative AI, despite what it will tell you when prompted, doesn’t allow for those connections to be made, to say nothing of the other destruction it causes.

I understand the perceived need to stay technologically relevant, and the tech industry as a whole is pushing itself further and further towards AI. However, it is doing so against the wishes of, and in many cases to the detriment of, the people who use these services and platforms.

The least you could do is ask for permission ahead of time, rather than for forgiveness once the bubble pops.

100% behind this. It shouldn't be possible to have messages in chat you can't delete.

I would like to have the toggle for Featured Clips to be persistent between page loads. At present, the toggle resets whenever you load a new page. In practice this means that the clips disappear whenever you click on one to watch until you switch the toggle off again.
