Suggestion Regarding Moderator Message Deletion Functionality
Dear Twitch Team,
I would like to suggest an improvement to the current moderation tools available in Twitch chat.
At present, moderators are unable to delete their own messages, and removing other users' messages can be unnecessarily complicated, especially during fast-paced streams where quick action is critical.
🔹 Proposed changes:
Allow moderators to delete their own messages – this would help correct mistakes or remove unintended content quickly.
Simplify the process for deleting messages from other users – for example, by adding a more accessible button or a hotkey within mod view.
Improving these tools would greatly enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of moderators, ultimately helping maintain a safe and well-managed chat environment.
Thank you for your consideration.
