Cancel update for moderators - "Show Messages Caught by Channel Blocked Terms"
In the latest quiet update, Twitch introduced the “Show Messages Caught by Channel Blocked Terms” feature.
But it is completely useless and only disturbs moderators.
What is the point: The word is in the blacklist, but if a person sends it to the chat - the moderator sees it, but delayed by AutoMod.
Previously, such messages were not allowed into the chat in any way.
Because of this, the number of permanent bans and spam in the chat from AutoMod for the moderator and streamer has increased many times.
Yes, there is a setting in the chat settings for the moderator to disable this feature and it only works locally in native Twitch chat. But most moderators use 3rd-party chat clients, such as Chatterino - which is not covered by this setting. Let me put it this way - this feature doesn't even apply to the native Twitch chat, you still see AutoMod delaying such messages.
I suggest 2 options:
• Roll back this update completely.
• You don't have to roll back your feature, but stick it deep into the AutoMod of the channel so that the setting to display such messages works globally for the channel.
But in this function I, as well as many other moderators with whom I managed to communicate on this occasion, see no sense and consider it useless.
The blocklist exists so that words or symbols present in it do not appear in the chat in any way. Then why should the moderator be given the choice to allow it or not, if he has previously included this word in the forbidden ones.

Agree with this. I use channel blocked terms to combat spambots in my channel; prior to this update, I was able to almost completely stop bot activity in my chat by using carefully selected blocked phrases. Since this update though, I now still see their messages through automod notifications, and have to manually deny them, which defeats the purpose of using blocked terms to combat this type of spam in the first place.

This feature is completely useless and only makes chat moderation more difficult. Remove this update to normalize operation

As the mod of few big channels with active chat I'am here with the same statement. This feature is completely useless.

Es cualquiera la update, hace bastante que nos complican más el trabajo a los moderadores en vez de arreglar cosas que venimos pidiendo hace bastante.

it's an unnecesary update. When mods block terms, it's so the streamer doesn't have to read certain words or topics

It's a very annoying update. We block terms to prevent everyone from reading and sending those words, and the streamer is included. Why would we want an update that allows the streamer to read the words we don't want them to? There's a reason to have blocked terms and it's to not read them AT ALL.
