Allow us to use the word autistic in our About section.
I am an autistic person and this affects how I communicate. I want to ensure people are aware of this when joining my stream, and so I've always had it in my "about" section. It's a diagnosed disability and integral to who I am.
I went to update my about info recently and it kept failing moderation. Turns out it's because I can now no longer use the word autistic in my bio.
This is really ableist erasure. I know some people use "autistic" as an insult but the correct answer isn't to censor people using it legitimately. It's to effectively moderate reports of people misusing it.
Please remove this filter so I can disclose my own neurodivergent traits to people as I see fit.

Hey all! Thank you again for bringing this feedback to our attention. Just checking back in to let you know that we have updated our system and you are now able to use autistic in your about section.

this needs to be fixed immediately. Autistic and qu**r (I only used asterixes since I know the word isn't allowed here, which is ridiculous) are self identifiers and super important and this needs to be fixed.

I'm not sure what's going on with this issue, but now I can't use "*****" in my about section. Why is this even a problem? Just allow both "*****" and "autistic" in the automod. This can't possibly be hard to implement. (Though I assume there's some sort of cycle before you can push changes, wow... it's already almost 2 weeks later.)

After further testing, I have found:
if I remove bi/genderqueer I can have autistic.
I can't have autistic & bi (without genderqueer)
I can't have autistic & genderqueer (without bi)
I can have autistic *****.Edit to add: so I can say queer on my about page but not here. Checks out.

Agreed! It's important to be able to identify ourselves correctly.
