2. Longfonds

   Er is een organisatie die ondersteuning biedt bij longaandoening zoals astma, hooikoorts, etc. Het longfonds. Ik zocht of deze bij de bestaande goede doelen stond en verbaasde me dat deze nog niet bekend was. Ze houden zich bezig met onderzsoek steunen, informatie bij mensen brengen en dat soort dingen dus een echt goed doel.

8. Allow donations to non-US charities

   I have seen many automated replies about charities that have requested to be added with a comment of "At this time, the charity tool is fully integrated with the PayPal Giving Fund; so if your charity is registered there, you can already find it to start a fundraising campaign"

   However, many charities that are already in the PayPal Giving Fund do not appear in Twitch's charity list - a request I logged provided this as an example.

   Can someone from Twitch confirm that you have restricted this to ONLY charities based in the US? This question does not seem to have been addressed, and would appreciate confirmation that this is the issue rather than a boilerplate reply that does not address the issue we are seeing.

12. Add Victorian State Emergency Services (VicSES) to list of Charities.

    Can we please add VicSES to the list of Charities?

    Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is a volunteer-based organisation, providing emergency assistance to the community. VicSES is one of several state-based organistations in Australia providing emergency assistance to the community.

    VICSES receives donations for two purposes:

    Volunteer Unit Assistance Fund (UAF): The purpose of the UAF is to enable units of the Victoria State Emergency Service Authority (VICSES) registered under section 35 of the Victoria State Emergency Service Act 2005 to meet the costs of purchasing and maintaining equipment and facilities, providing training and resources and otherwise to meet the administrative expenses of the units.

    Volunteer Hardship Fund (VHF): The purpose of the VHF is to provide relief to VICSES volunteers and/or their families who are in necessitous circumstances, resulting from VICSES volunteers suffering from medical condition arising out of their authorised VICSES volunteer activities, pursuant to the Victoria State Emergency Service Act 2005 or where a volunteer’s death is connected with their authorised VICSES volunteer activities.

    In laymen's terms, the UAF helps the individual VicSES Units with the costs associated with running the Unit, whereas the VHF provides support for VicSES volunteers who are injured or family members of Volunteers killed while on duty.

    It would be great to have VicSES, (along with NSWSES, QSES, SASES, WASES, TasSES, ACTSES and NTSES) on board so we can donate to their services.

    L'opération Pièces jaunes est une campagne française de solidarité menée chaque année depuis 1989 par la Fondation des Hôpitaux afin de collecter des fonds destinés à l'amélioration des conditions d'hospitalisation des enfants et des adolescents.

    Les fonds collectés servent à financer des projets visant à « améliorer la vie quotidienne des enfants et des adolescents hospitalisés », mais aussi celle de leurs proches et des équipes soignantes, en favorisant le rapprochement des familles, le développement des activités, la lutte contre la douleur et l'amélioration de l’accueil et le confort. Les projets soutenus vont de l’acquisition de jouets à l’aménagement d’espaces d’accueil pour les familles et à la construction de maisons des parents1, en passant par l'organisation de séjours de vacances pour les enfants hospitalisés ou bien la rénovation d'unités de soin. 15. Ich möchte sehr gerne "Paradies für HandiCATs - behinderte Katzen - Katzenhoffnung Steiermark" vorschlagen.

    Zuerst möchte ich sehr gerne den Link für Katzenhoffnung posten, dort kann sich gerne jeder selbst ein wenig darüber informieren.

    Ein kleiner Auszug aus der Homepage, welche es finde ich sehr gut beschreibt:

    "Unsere absoluten Herzenstiere sind behinderte Katzen - allen voran "querschnittgelähmte und inkontinente HandiCATs®".
    Denn auch sie haben ein Recht auf ein glückliches Katzenleben.

    Wir sind das einzig private Katzenhheim, das in ein privates Wohnhaus integriert ist und in welchem die behinderten Katzen mit den Menschen gemeinsam in einem Haus leben! Denn uns liegt es am Herzen, dass die Samtpfoten ein normales Leben als vollständige Familienmitglieder führen können."

    Weiters wird auch genau beschreiben, was sie unter behinderten Katzen verstehen:

    Leider wird ihnen allzu oft die Lebensberechtigung genommen, ohne einen Funken von einer Chance. Dabei wird allzu schnell vergessen, dass die Katze bis vor wenigen Minuten/Stunden die treueste und ehrlichste Weggefährtin gewesen ist. Der Todesspritze näher als dem Leben…. Leider auch all zu oft in der Ausnahmesituation der Umwelt hörig und nicht fähig auf sein Herz zu hören. Ein Leben das vorschnell beendet wurde, kann niemals wieder gutgemacht bzw. wieder zum Leben erweckt werden!!!

    In unserer Gesellschaft wird immer mehr nur noch nach dem perfekten Tier Ausschau gehalten. Die Vorurteile gegenüber einem behinderten Tier sind gnadenlos. Jeder, der selbst bereits ein verletztes und verstümmeltes Tier bei sich zu Hause aufgenommen hat, kann erst nachvollziehen, wie egoistisch und grausam und vor allem gefühlslos die Umwelt ihren Unmut äußern kann. Es ist jedes Mal ein Stich mitten ins Herz für den Besitzer, wenn durch Ignoranz, Herzlosigkeit und teils Unwissenheit über die Lebensqualität eines Tieres geurteilt wird.

    Tiere haben keine Stimme, aber sehr wohl das Recht auf Leben, wenn nur ein Funken von Lebenswillen trotz neuer und veränderter Lebenssituation durch die Behinderung in ihnen steckt. Und genau dieser Lebenswille ist jene Macht, die diese Tiere in sich tragen. Nicht nach Verlorenem zu jammern – so wie wir Menschen – sondern die überdimensionale Zuversicht und die innerliche Kraft sich dem neuen Leben zu stellen.

    Aus unserer persönlichen Erfahrung sind es unglaubliche, lebenslustige und wunderbare Tiere. Wir konnten wundersame Katzen bereits nach Unfällen, Amputationen oder schweren Verletzungen durch Menschenhand wieder ins Leben begleiten. Egal ob Dreibeinchen oder querschnittsgelähmte Fellnäschen, ebenso blinde oder auch taube Tiere. Diese Tiere sind voller geballter Lebenslust!

    Diese Tiere machen unendlich Mut, Mut zum Ja für ein behindertes Tier! Auch wenn aller Anfang für Mensch und Tier schwer ist, wird tägliche Dankbarkeit und unendlich tiefe Liebe Mensch und Tier verbinden, oft ist diese gegenseitige Liebe um vielfaches intensiver und die Bindung trägt eine unendliche Macht an Zuneigung und Feingefühl. Diese Liebe zu einem HandicapTier macht unendlich glücklich.

    Behinderte Tiere verzaubern unwahrscheinlich durch ihre Dankbarkeit, durch ihren Mut und ihre Lebensenergien, und wer glaubt das zB ein Dreibeinchen nie mehr richtig laufen kann, der hat noch niemals genau hingesehen wie diese Tiere herumsausen können, wie kleine Raketen, sondern nur weggesehen, oder nicht den Mut gefasst sich dem Leben mit Behinderung zu stellen…

    Es gibt nichts Schöneres als ein ehemals hoffnungsloses und aussichtsloses Schicksal zum Guten zu wenden."

    Ich finde, sie hätten es wirklich verdient aufgenommen zu werden. Sie sind auf Spenden angewiesen, hatten in der letzten Zeit sehr hohe Ausgaben.

17. Develop and enact a policy preventing harmful charities from accessing Twitch's charity tool

    Twitch's current community guidelines focuses behaviors that happen on site but many nonprofits do not stream or engage on Twitch. And becoming a nonprofit within the United States is relatively easy and affordable. FB, Google, and YouTube have stances against nonprofits that are discriminatory in nature or provide access only if the recipient of the program converts to their religion. Allowing nearly any nonprofit to be fundraised for through Twitch's charity product opens a new vector for abuse one that has serious real world implications given that money is involved.

18. Japanese Charities　日本の慈善団体を追加してほしい

    日本の慈善団体に寄付できるようにしてほしいです。

    Twitchに掲載慈善団体を掲載するにはPayPal Giving Fundに登録する必要があります。
    ところが2024年4月現在PayPal Giving Fundは日本の慈善団体を登録することができません。

    簡潔な募金システムを構築するためPaypal Giving Fundのみを利用することはとても理解できます。
    それでも日本の慈善団体を是非追加してほしいのです。

    今日本ではRTA(Speedrun)をはじめとして様々なライブストリームを通じて慈善団体に寄付しようとする動きがあります。
    それは日本の慈善活動の推進はもちろん、ライブストリームが社会に素晴らしい貢献ができることを日本のみならず世界に知ってもらえる機会となることでしょう。
    チャリティで社会貢献をするTwitchであればその重要性を理解していただけると信じております。

    是非日本の慈善団体をTwitchに追加してください。
