Mods have a "Make It Rain" option with their Channel Points
As a Mod we should be able to use our points on a Make It Rain option where we can input the number of points and the number of recipients, and let the algorithm used for handing out gifted subs, pick who gets the points (equal amounts among the number of people designated). I would rather be able to give points to members of chat to be able to interact more, than use em to highlight my message or alter an emote.
@crewjip Okay!!! You can make this idea too!!!
I really like Crewjip's comment... that's all. :)
I feel like this takes away from channel points.
The ability to have sub only mode and a channel point reward for typing in sub only mode would for me be amazing! It would air like a soft paywall to chat. You pay with your time to earn to first couple of messages. But if your a nice guy and the mods or creator wants you around more we can gift channel points. Also fun for raffles and games with chat.
I like this idea, but why are we limiting it to mods? I think we should allow any users to gift points they have to the community, especially if they don't plan on using them themselves. On that note though, because so many streamers have only a few redeemable options that aren't attractive to many people, allowing users to randomly gift points to chat will almost certainly clog up chat and it might not be the best of ideas. There definitely should be a way that someone can transfer their points to another user and make it so that a streamer or one of their editors can give points to a user (not transferring their own) so that a streamer can say something like if you win a 1v1 in Fortnite with me, I'll gift you a thousand channel points. Obviously you can customize the name of your point's currency, but it's definitely a feature that should get added.
