Let the streamer have access to follower emotes

I’ve seen creators in the beta mention that they don’t have access to the emotes since you cannot follow yourself on Twitch. Therefore, the creator wouldn’t be able to use their own emotes in their community, as they are not a follower of the channel. Please allow creators to have access to those emotes too!!

    I noticed today that streamers do not have the ability to use their own Follower Emotes in chat!

    This is pretty frustrating, especially if you're like me and put some of your most frequently used emotes in the free follower slots.

    It would be great if Twitch made it possible for streamers to be able to use their own Follower Emotes, similarly to how we're subscribed to ourselves once we become affiliates.

    i dont have access to follower emotes it says it has been disabled on my account since day 1 and everytime i reach out to twitch they dont respond back on why? ive never had any violations or any copyright strikes so it doesnt make sense why there disabled to begin with i need help and answers and i dont know how to get in contact with twitch other then the usual support.

    I don't have access to my follower emotes, but my bits badges have populated as emotes for some reason

    I don’t have access to my follower emotes either. It’s so weird to me since I have access to the bit emotes and I don’t donate bits to my channel either! So why can’t I access follower emotes? :(

    Streamers can't use their own Follower emotes in other streamer's channels. How many times does a streamer use their emotes in their own channel? Rarely.

    I also can't access my follower emotes. For now, I'm leaving the slots open and just putting the emotes for subs only.

    Would love to have the follower emotes unlocked. Everyone in my community has it and I am kinda feeling left out here lol

    Hi, so glad i came across this thread because its been a real pain lol it only works sometimes but very rarely. Most of the time i dont have access to my follower emotes.

    I do not have the Follower option in my Emote Slot Assignment. How can I get it unlocked?

    I am unable to access my follower emotes and followers on mobile also seem to be unable to use them. They also no longer show up in my discord despite my discord and twitch being linked.

    Following up to my previous post:

    I do have access to my Follower Emotes and so do my Followers. The problem is that they are only available on the PC version of Twitch. Utilizing the mobile app or console apps, noone has access to those Emotes. Has anyone else experienced this and/or know a fix?

    I do not have access to my follower emotes, either. I was told to respond to this thread. Chat was able to use it immediately, though.

    I understand that followers are only allowed to use them in my chat but is the intention to let the streamer be able to access them outside of their chat as well? I think that should be that case, seeing as they are our own emotes and is a good way to advertise by allowing us to be able to use them across Twitch.

    I moved a couple sub emotes to the new follower emote spots. I can only use the follower emotes in my own chat. They are not available anywhere else on twitch.
