Animated Emotes Slots Moveable Tier 2 / Tier 3 / Bit Tier
Hello,
As a Twitch Partner getting access to Animated Emotes or .gif Emotes today (6/17/2021) was fantastic. One huge draw that I noticed is that this does not incentivize any subscriber to subscribe at Tier 2 or Tier 3 anymore.
Subscribers now have the most benefits at Tier 1 when all 5 of these slots are placed there.
I would love the opportunity to improve on Sub Emotes by having the ability to move these slots to reward subscribers who donate at a higher tier. This way Subscribers at Tier 2+ do not feel left out. For example: If I was able to take my 5 slots and move 2 to Tier 3 and 2 to Tier 2 this would incentivize them to Subscribe at this higher amount.
I want to make sure I am continuously providing support for subscribers who go out of their way to subscribe at a higher tier. These new emotes slots today all being at Tier 1 disincentivize higher subscriber tiers.
I would be comfortable with this being for partnered creators or something you have to earn for having a different sub count over time. For example, this could be something that you gain with a number of Tier 2 subscribers like affiliates do when they reach for their first 5 emotes. I would be open to any other ideas that people have to improve on this. These are just my first thoughts when thinking about this.

It is now October of 2022 and almost a year and a half after this post and this still has not been considered and I don't understand why. I am an affiliate and we really need to be able to offer animated emotes (and more emotes in general) to Tier 2 and Tier 3 subscribers. Having only a single slot for Tier 2 and Tier 3 (and no ability to assign an animated emote to Tier 2 or Tier 3) is not incentivizing or rewarding my higher tier subscribers.

As a partner I too agree.
we either need more animated slots for each tier. or like you say here a fine split over all tiers.
I would prefer more slots open to PARTNERS only as so far partner perks are not really a huge incentive!
