I talked with a Twitch staff member a while ago about this and I wanted Twitch to add 5 additional animated emote slots to the Tier 2 and 3 subs.
A lot of us streamers need to use third party browser extensions to let our viewers use all of our emotes and it's really upsetting knowing that when people could be subscribing and helping support not only Streamers but Twitch as a platform, instead they only get five static emotes and Tier 1 subs get more in general.
Additionally the 3rd party extensions also disincentives people so sub at all if they can get free access to a majority of the Streamers animated emotes without having to pay at all.
Hence I think Tier 2 and 3's should get 5 more individual animated emote slots for each tier to encourage higher tier subscriptions and increase support for both Twitch and its creators.
