it would be highly beneficial to introduce a “B2B” chat badge for verified professionals and creators.
Many streamers who actively and respectfully support other channels—while strictly adhering to channel rules and Twitch guidelines—are often met with unnecessary suspicion from moderators.

This frequently leads to uncomfortable and frankly unprofessional situations, especially in smaller partner and affiliate channels. Appearing in chat under these circumstances—despite purely supportive and collaborative intent—can be unnecessarily awkward and discouraging for everyone involved.

For context: I work professionally at a rate of €250 per hour and engage on Twitch strictly with a B2B mindset—to support, collaborate, and contribute value in line with the platform’s guidelines. Being treated as if one had hidden motives in such environments is not only misplaced, but genuinely embarrassing for all sides.

Additionally, access to a B2B badge could reasonably require proof of a completed professional qualification or formal background in relevant fields such as software/application development, graphic design, marketing, media production, or related disciplines. This would ensure credibility and help moderators immediately assess intent correctly.

Encouraging transparent B2B interaction would strengthen trust, professionalism, and long-term collaboration across the Twitch ecosystem.
