I agree here. When you have more than 5 artists, having to pick and choose which artists get a badge and which do not is rather unfair. I imagine it probably leads to *no one* getting the badge to avoid awkwardness or hurt feelings in a lot of cases.

For example many channels have more than 1 emote artist so it's conceivable that they could use up their artist badges *just* on their emote artist friends, and that's before even considering the model artists, overlay artists, prop artists, riggers, editors, musicians who compose channel theme music, discord reactive pngs for on-stream group calls, and more.

As an aside, like DrJones007 said in another comment there is also room for more creative badge types. Twitch recently added the 'weekly top clips' banner at the top of the chat alongside the weekly top gift subs and bit donations; there could be a clipper badge that a streamer could hand out to incentivize more active clipping. That is to say there are other synergies that could be tied into an expanded artist badge system that Twitch may want to consider.

I have 30+ artists tagged in my credits, the limit currently just isn't enough to be able to make sure everyone is given the same level of love!

This! also if they do not want to add more artist role/ badges they could add more creative badges (3D modlest, designer, animator, ect). Their are a lot of creative people on Twitch and to limit it just artist sounds limmiting.

I'm not sure what the reason for having such a small limit is. It doesn't seem like there's a way to exploit having an artist role, so having a small limit seems pointless.
I also think emote attribution should automatically assign it.

So many people have so many more then five artists that contribute to their channel, and being able to credit and boost all of them is such a good community tool as well as it encourages people to share their art, maybe even push them towards streaming themselves! Adding the ability for more badges is a win-win situation!!!

Most Vtubers have way more than 15 or 20 artists and that number gets even higher the longer someone streams. Personally, I also think it should be uncapped so artists can get even more recognition.

HUGE AGREE although in this instance I think it should be uncapped or at LEAST upwards of 50 like we have with VIP badges. My credit section is MASSIVE and I even made most of my own stuff, I can't even imagine for other Vtubers.

Twitch PLEASE give us just as many artist badges as VIP if not more! Also automatically assigning an artist badge to anyone who has a credited emote on the channel would be amazing!
