Removing Bit Emotes
In a perfect world, everyone would be friends and get along. However for various reasons people sometimes leave communities they have earned bit emotes in. Then the bit emotes remain forever as a constant reminder. People should have the ability to remove bit emotes from certain streamers.

I BEG YOU TWITCH: an option to delete unwanted Twitch Bits reward Emotes. I get anxiety every time I see one from a streamer I no longer want to be associated with!! (2)

I would really like the option to be added to hide or remove emotes earned by giving bits. Having just a single emote among the others I sub to is quite annoying.
Fingers crossed twitch sees this and does something to help us or one of the emote extensions adds an option to be able to do it.

Would personally really like this option added :) had a falling out with someone and would like to get rid of the bit emote I have from them. This really needs to be added soon.

One easy addition they could add:
When you are subscribed to a streamer, or have bit-emotes from that streamer, you have a section for that streamer with their icon, name and the ⋮ button.
Pressing the ⋮ button, you get the option to report the emotes. But they could here add an option to hide this streamer from the list. Then have another general ⋮ for the whole emote-menu itself where you get an option to show a list of streamers you've hidden from the list so far so you can unhide them.
This wouldn't hide the emotes in the chat, and their emotes could perhaps still show up on the emote-menu if you're on their stream still. This is specifically about hiding their section on your emote-menu when you're not on their stream (being a subscriber to them, or paid bits for emotes).
When a section is hidden, those emotes can also be removed from the often used emotes section. Emotes unlocked by channel points can remain in the list since those will go away in less than 24 hours anyway.
This still doesn't allow you to hide a specific emote either. But just like how when you report an emote, and you get to select it, you could also have a second option for hiding a specific emote, and then getting to select it.

Absolutely this. I've wanted this option for years. Moving on from traumatic experiences can be hard, but having those emotes constantly pop up when autocompleting is a frequent and painful reminder of previous online abuse.
I wish there was some setting to disable certain emotes from showing at all, including for autocompleting. Luckily most channels I talk in have the hypetrain creep emote blocked, but it still shows up when autocompleting something similar.

I'm glad I'm not the only person that wants this. Too bad they haven't done anything about it yet.

Completely agree. I'd love to have the ability to remove certain emotes from my emote picker. Having the option to hide blocked streamer's emotes in my own chat would also be nice. It'd help prevent triggering moments caused by purposeful or accidental exposure to blocked individual's emotes. I'd rather not have to deal with the awkwardness that arises when people see the emotions plastered on my face when they use a triggering emote in my chat.

I agree entirely with Tachii. I require emotes to be removed too. I also wouldn't mind the history of transactions to be removeable as well, especially if the emotes were obtained via. bits transactions. Why is it difficult for an option to revoke obtained emotes, but you can revoke a gifted sub with a few clicks? Simply put a tab with the gifted subs, to track obtained permanent emotes. Click a gear Icon, and click "Remove from Inventory" or something similar. That's it. It'd save me a lot of issues, and allow for me to forget a history I wish to forget.

Twitch, please sort this out, it's INFINITELY triggering to me to see emotes existing in my list from channels that have caused me deep and long-term emotional trauma. This should be taken a lot more seriously as advocates for mental health and ensuring everyone feels safe on your platform.

Twitch please allow us to remove bit emotes. I still have to see my abuser's emote in my list of emotes. Please give us the option to hide or get rid of them.

Please make this an option. I have bit emotes to two channels/streamers that I am no longer associated with and I would like to not see those emotes anymore.

Channels I once followed which gave free emotes remain in my list. But I do not want to be in any way associated with this channel anymore but can not get rid of the emotes even when I stopped the subscription and unfollowed the channel. Please make this an option.

I'm now aware that you can turn of receiving gifted subscriptions to channels you don't follow, but it's not common knowledge
In the interim I've had several emotes from several streamers which I'd rather not have
Some I've followed and supported, some I'm not remotely familiar with
I'd like to see a feature option where I control the emotes I'm awarded rights to use
I appreciate that you can turn of receiving subs from not followed streams, but some of the streams I follow have several emotes I'm not appreciative of, and some simply have more than enough
I have single support/bits badges adding a section to my emote scroll aswell, to see a name I may not want to and a single emote that most content creators seem to consider like an afterthought
All this would be resolved for all users if each user had the ability to manage the emotes that they were awarded the right to use
Whether by bits, sub, gift sub, moment or other meansWe should have the ability to control emotes, not just the option to choose not use them but otherwise have no choice but to have them - and this is an especially strong point about/issue with bits badges due to their current permanentcy
Please twitch, permit us the ability to manage/regulate what we have been awarded access to in our emote section
