THISSSS!!! I have to scroll through a whole bunch of emotes of dead channels/people i now longer follow because they turned out to be the worst, and yet their emotes still appear at the top of my emotes list YEARS later.

Simple solution would be - when you block or unfollow a channel, their emotes (including Bits emotes) ALL disappear from your available emotes list.

I feel this will NEVER change. Twitch should be looking at this!

YES, please. I have a few streamers I no longer support, and seeing their emotes in my emote menu is always a bit jarring. We need an option to hide these.

twitch will never fix this because they outright do not give a ****, and everyone knows it. i have bits emotes from ex-friends who've literally false copyrighted me in the past purely as a retaliation move, but there's never any way to remove their stupid profile pictures and bits from my list of emotes.

this idea thing was filed over half a freaking decade ago, and it'd be so simple to resolve:
- if a User blocks someone, all their corresponding emotes or bit emotes are removed from your list. Simple.

I've also blocked 2 users that have an emote of a mod who bullied me for over a year and I STILL see those emotes in my list! This needs to stop!

Twitch will likely never see this - too bad, as we have enough triggers out in the world without these bit emotes clogging our list of emotes. WHY HAS THIS NOT BEEN FIXED???!!??

Filed a few years back and still nothing from twitch. Which doesn't make me surprised. Because in the end, I don't think they care about this situation. It's not affecting them financially or publicly so no need to worry about things right? I'm so tired of seeing a stupid bitty emote from a person so toxic, they affected my mental health and so many others. But here we are left seeing it scrolling down. It's like I'm still being haunted by him and mocked. Basically I'm tired of this grandpa and twitch is saying well that's too **** bad! 🤷‍♀️

I am late on this but I too have a bit emote from an ex friend who treated me like dirt. I came in contact with Twitch support but I got the same response as everyone else here. Plz make the emote disappear when you block the streamer

I'm shocked this isn't an available feature. Why? It's not a good user experince. Echoing the issue of chooising to avoid seeing people and their work I have no desire to see any more, having emotes there I never want to use is clutter - I will never use emotes I had donated bits to but unfollowed and/or blocked for whatever reason.

I saw that there wasn't a way for a user to be removed from a bit leaderboard once they were added which I understand but there can be a functiuon in the users settings to hide the emotes from a channels they choose. I don't mean the drop down, but a function that acknowledges the user have the permissions to use the emotes but the user has the emotes hidden from their selectable emotes menu. Blocking someone should auto-hide that channes emotes. I don't think it's that crazy of a concept and feels more like the right things to do here even if approached differently.

+1. If you have a streamer blocked, their emotes, including bit emotes, should automatically be removed from your emote menu. This is simple stuff, Twitch.

Sometimes I have to wonder if this option is there to CAUSE mental distress, as many social media platforms are clearly not healthy for users. I sincerely hope not, but by now, I have to wonder.

@PikanyaaPik That's too bad. I did add to my reply that I hope that Twitch can finally implement this function for their supporters.

I also contacted Twitch support to request emote removal and got the exact same response Vals Loeder did. If MrKane really did have their request honored while the rest of us were brushed off, that is completely unacceptable!

As per @MrKaneMusic, I have contacted Twitch support to see whether they will remove the 2 emotes that are causing me mental anguish. These emotes depict a bully, and I hope to have the same good luck as he did.

Absolutely ridiculous that of all the stupid things that Twitch DOES implement, that this small option is STILL not part of their platform. Shame on them! I still have emotes that trigger mental issues with me, as there is a particular mod who for some reason had an emote designed for her and used by several DJ's, two of whom have them as bit emotes THREE YEARS LATER!

@mrkanemusic... I am glad it worked out for you. I requested the removal of emotes from a particular streamer but I got this response:

Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to remove Bits Tier Emote Rewards after unlocking them. Our development teams have heard your feedback on this issue, and are working to introduce this feature at a later date.
