Removing Bit Emotes
In a perfect world, everyone would be friends and get along. However for various reasons people sometimes leave communities they have earned bit emotes in. Then the bit emotes remain forever as a constant reminder. People should have the ability to remove bit emotes from certain streamers.

Twitch please allow us to remove bit emotes. I still have to see my abuser's emote in my list of emotes. Please give us the option to hide or get rid of them.

Please make this an option. I have bit emotes to two channels/streamers that I am no longer associated with and I would like to not see those emotes anymore.

Channels I once followed which gave free emotes remain in my list. But I do not want to be in any way associated with this channel anymore but can not get rid of the emotes even when I stopped the subscription and unfollowed the channel. Please make this an option.

I'm now aware that you can turn of receiving gifted subscriptions to channels you don't follow, but it's not common knowledge
In the interim I've had several emotes from several streamers which I'd rather not have
Some I've followed and supported, some I'm not remotely familiar with
I'd like to see a feature option where I control the emotes I'm awarded rights to use
I appreciate that you can turn of receiving subs from not followed streams, but some of the streams I follow have several emotes I'm not appreciative of, and some simply have more than enough
I have single support/bits badges adding a section to my emote scroll aswell, to see a name I may not want to and a single emote that most content creators seem to consider like an afterthought
All this would be resolved for all users if each user had the ability to manage the emotes that they were awarded the right to use
Whether by bits, sub, gift sub, moment or other meansWe should have the ability to control emotes, not just the option to choose not use them but otherwise have no choice but to have them - and this is an especially strong point about/issue with bits badges due to their current permanentcy
Please twitch, permit us the ability to manage/regulate what we have been awarded access to in our emote section

please let me stop seeing his face...

How is this still not a feature? Twitch keeps adding in things NOBODY asked for and can't fix this problem that's right in everyone's face.

Yes we need this, recently had a falling out with a now exfriend who streams and I have bit emotes to their channel that pains me when I scroll past we NEED a feature like this

I absolutely agree. Seeing their emote and name is a constant reminder which is extremely offputting and does nothing but get in the way.

I wholeheartedly agree! As someone who was manipulated by a streamer and then kicked out of their community, it is a very triggering experience to constantly see their face and username when I search through my emotes on Twitch. Please allow us to remove bit emotes if we have been kicked out of a community!

Instead of going to Twitch Support to get certain emotes you don’t want as a subscriber and a bit donator you should have the option to delete. There are an amount of people that got abused and before that they would subscribe or donate and got stuck with the streamers emotes that they don’t want.

Please please please, this is a very very very easy thing to allow us to have! I dedicated a lot of time and quite a bit of money supporting someone who turned around and slapped me in the face/excommunicated me from their community when another member of their community abused me so this is a VERY VERY hurtful reminder to see her face on my emote list every time I want to interact with communities that DO accept me.

Please add this option. I too have painful memories of a streamer i have unlocked bit emotes too. It hurts everytime i have to see them. Makes me never want to use the mobile app

I totally agree. 1000%. I have brought this issue up to Twitch before. I like the toggle on/off button someone suggested. Twitch, please do something to allow the users to hide or delete bit emotes we no longer want to see. Some of us have hurtful memories we're trying to move on from and heal from.

Yes! I'm happy someone agrees with this. I blocked someone over issues that I just can't reconcile. I don't want their emotes in my options anymore to remind me of them. I wish there was a way to hide them or delete them when someone is blocked.

I'm so glad other people are commenting on this.
Streamers who aren't getting penalized for harassing members of their community still get to haunt their victims with bit emotes. It ruins the experience for the user. If mental health was truly a priority to Twitch, they'd at least take a moment to prioritize this and filter out bit emotes from blocked streamers. Nobody needs a constant reminder.
