Veteran Badges for Twitch
I think it would be pretty awesome if twitch had some veteran badges, which can be also shown in Chat.
Like 5 years registered twitch account, 10 years and so on.

I have been on twitch since 2012. I have supported this platform and its creators for a whole DECADE, I feel its right to give anyone who has been on twitch for TEN years a special chat badge.

it's me Splinter98 i made this account from long time ago 8/1/2011 when twitch started it has 3 days so yea i'm thinking why we don't make badges for older accounts like me to apperciate the twitch support like ' discord " does have a badge " early supporter" or something like that .

It would nice to have a badge based on your twitch accounts creation date.

New Chat badge for how long you’ve been with Twitch I think it would be a neat feature for users to earn a chat badge for a specific amount of the time that they have been on Twitch.
In my opinion, a 5-year badge would be appropriate for this feature (i.e. If I created my account in 2011, I would earn a badge in 2016).
There can be a 1-year badge, 3-year badge, 5-year badge, 5+-year badge and then a Twitch founder badge for people that have created their accounts in 2011This would also be a great way of saying thank you to those who have been using the website for a while and motivate those to remain on Twitch.
I also think there should be Birthday Badges that are shown globally for the people that are on Twitch the day that they created their account and or for their actual birthdays. Kind of like on Reddit were they have their own little 'Happy Cake day' something similar can be implemented into Twitch chat.
An Affiliate badge is something that is most needed for Affiliate streamers on Twitch. Affiliates should have a global badge that separates them from the rest of the chat as broadcasters. Kind of like the 'verified symbol' for Partners, but just specific to Twitch Affiliates. That badge will be benefiting hardworking Affiliates that socialize in other channels and would help them get followers and gain new supporters. Also as a streamer myself, I would like to know when someone on my channel is a streamer so I can follow them too. To avoid being overused by people who streamed for a little and then realized it's not for them, twitch can have some requirements to get and maintain the badge such as streaming hours p/month or total hours.
Developer Badge and a Verified Game Dev Badge. There should also be a Global badge for the number of streamers you are subscribed too. These are all very intricate ideas that could be implemented into the badge system that I think will improve the way chat interacts with one another. One last thing. If you guys do incorporate this idea, can you guys create a new badge like 'glhf' badge or Twitch prime badge specifically for people who have requested a feature that has been implemented into the Twitch system so we can get recognition and have proof to tell friends and show chat. I think that by making these badges, it would encourage more people to request for new features that could improve Twitch quality and the community as a whole. We could call it the 'Uservoice' badge or something along those lines and the badge icon could be a cute little light bulb that's sparkling. That's all from me though. Thanks Twitch for your cooperation and transparency. Keep up the good work! <3 xqcL

It might help to stop trolls too, if every Twitch account had a progressing anniversary global or channel badge (Or Veteran) then new accounts would be easily identifiable for possible troll accounts, it may even give someone an incentive to stop trolling and look after their badges
That said we won't be able to proudly show them if we're restricted to how many badges we can display

Account age badge,
Something to show the age of an individuals account. Maybe a badge for 5 years after the account was created, or one for 10 years after an account was created. There are already badges for sub age, why not one to show how long the person has been on twitch overall. -

I am here to discuss about having a possible Badge to wear in all Twitch Streamers chats that stats that I've been on Twitch for 5+ years, is there a way we can get something like this going in the future? could be increments of 5 years only for a badge, so like 5, 10 , 15 however long Twitch stays in business :) Would be a cool concept to think about! :D

Good afternoon everyone!

Users should also be able to enable/disable the badge in their settings if they don't want to display it in chat. (i.e. just like Twitch Turbos)
Let me know what you guys think! :D
