1. Disable subs and donations

   I'm on Ontario Disability and the system is not practical for anyone on it to try and earn an income of any kind to improve the situation. We are currently limited to earning $200 CAD per month, after that 100% of income gets deducted from the 'next' support payment until the amount that cancels the disability support. Just wanting to stream is a financial risk to me because of all the associated complications, and often costs, associated with maintaining any form of income. My previous job paid minimum wage and after 5 days I was actively losing money by going to work for the rest of the month.

   My idea is that if I could just prevent anyone from wasting money on my channel I could keep streaming and hope that the system changes for the better eventually.
   As it stands I am hesitant to stream on Twitch at all but it's the most likely place for me to actually have a viewer. You may have noticed my analytics are pretty much average viewers 0 - 2 bots trying to sell me followers, which I assume are just more bots.
   I would like the chance to at least build a viewer base.

2. follower list

   when a person you follow exits a stream it goez in to the gray color offline list but it goes randomly in to the list

   can you set first come first serve at the top of the offline gray list

   so if I go off I will appear at the very top

   its if you want to check the streamer and you have to go thru 100 streamers

3. Twitch Drop Searchbar

   With more and more twitch drops happening between games, the drops list is now harder to find the game that you want to earn drops for. My request is add a search bar in the drops page so people can search the game and find it easier.

4. Add More Sign Language Options Other Than ASL

   Currently, the only sign language option available is American Sign Language (ASL). While this is great for ASL users, it's important to recognize that ASL is not the only sign language, and it is not mutually intelligible with others.

   Sign languages differ from country to country—sometimes even within countries. Examples include:

   Auslan (Australia)

   BSL (UK)

   JSL (Japan)

   KSL (Korea)

   Irish Sign Language, Indian Sign Language, and many more.

   Suggested fix:

   Add a general "Sign Language" category

   When selected, show a second dropdown with country-specific sign languages (with an "Other" option for flexibility)

6. Allowing live captioning.

   Twitch could seriously benefit from live captioning features. The platform would seriously grow, live captions open up to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing audiences that have to wait for a live to be finished and captioned elsewhere. Creators get the chance to have bigger audiences among the hearing impaired, people who are unable to have sound on, and even international viewers who could benefit from the visual aid. Overall it would improve a Twitch users viewing experience and seriously help out those who genuinely need the advantage of captions.

7. Connexion, Demandes d’amis et Relations Fausses à l’ère numérique

   À l’ère numérique, les liens sociaux ne se tissent plus uniquement dans la réalité. Désormais, il suffit d’un clic pour devenir "ami" avec quelqu’un. Les demandes d’amis, que ce soit sur Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat ou même LinkedIn, sont devenues le premier pas vers une connexion. Mais cette facilité apparente cache une réalité bien plus complexe : toutes les relations virtuelles ne sont pas authentiques.

   1. L’illusion de la proximité Quand on accepte une demande d’ami, on a parfois l’impression d’ouvrir une porte vers une relation sincère. Pourtant, la plupart du temps, il ne s’agit que d’une illusion de proximité. Le simple fait d’avoir quelqu’un dans sa liste d’amis ne signifie pas qu’on le connaît réellement, ni même qu’on partage une affinité.

   Beaucoup accumulent les contacts pour gonfler leur nombre d’amis, dans une logique de validation sociale. Avoir 1000 amis, c’est impressionnant. Mais combien parmi eux prendraient le temps d’écouter, d’aider ou simplement de répondre à un message important ? Très peu.

   1. Les motivations derrière les demandes d’amis Il est important de se demander pourquoi quelqu’un envoie une demande d’ami. Les raisons peuvent être multiples :

   Curiosité

   Intérêt romantique

   Volonté de se rapprocher pour des avantages professionnels

   Envie de surveiller discrètement quelqu’un

   Création de profils fictifs pour manipuler, harceler ou escroquer

   Les réseaux sociaux sont remplis de profils fake. Ces faux comptes, souvent créés avec des photos volées, servent à instaurer un lien de confiance… pour ensuite trahir cette confiance. Ce phénomène donne naissance à ce que l’on appelle des relations fausses ou toxiques.

   1. La superficialité des relations en ligne Une grande partie des relations nouées sur Internet sont superficielles. On discute quelques jours, on s’envoie des messages, quelques "likes" sur des photos, puis le silence. Ces échanges brefs et sans profondeur laissent un sentiment de vide.

   Les réseaux sociaux favorisent ce zapping relationnel : on passe d’une personne à une autre sans véritable engagement. Le contact est immédiat, mais l’attachement est fragile. On se bloque, on se débloque, on se re-suivie, puis on s’oublie.

   1. Les conséquences émotionnelles Les relations fausses, même virtuelles, peuvent causer de vraies blessures. Lorsqu’on se rend compte qu’une amitié ou une relation amoureuse n’était qu’un jeu, qu’un mensonge, cela peut affecter l’estime de soi.

   Certaines personnes tombent dans des relations toxiques avec des individus manipulateurs qui profitent de leur gentillesse. Ces situations sont d’autant plus dangereuses qu’elles se passent à distance, dans l’ombre, derrière un écran.

   1. L’importance de la vigilance Il est essentiel d’apprendre à reconnaître les signaux d’alerte :

   Un profil trop parfait

   Une personne qui évite les appels vidéo

   Des incohérences dans les récits

   Une demande d’aide financière ou personnelle trop rapide

   Une volonté de tout savoir, sans se dévoiler

   Il ne faut pas avoir peur de poser des questions, de vérifier les informations et surtout, de protéger sa vie privée.

   1. Vers des connexions plus authentiques Malgré tous les pièges, il est possible de créer de vraies relations en ligne. Mais cela demande du temps, de l’honnêteté, de la patience et un peu de bon sens. Une véritable connexion se construit par des échanges sincères, des discussions profondes, et un respect mutuel.

   Il est aussi important de ne pas confondre validation et affection. Les "likes" ne sont pas des preuves d’amour. Les commentaires ne sont pas toujours sincères. Il faut chercher la qualité plutôt que la quantité.

   1. Témoignages : entre déception et résilience Beaucoup de gens témoignent de relations brisées commencées par une simple demande d’ami. Des femmes et des hommes qui pensaient avoir trouvé l’amour, l’amitié, et qui se sont retrouvés trahis, utilisés ou abandonnés.

   Mais ces épreuves permettent aussi de grandir. On apprend à se méfier, à observer, à choisir ses relations avec plus de discernement.

8. toggle facecam

   A Great idea would in my opinion would be to have the viewer be able to toggle off and on the steamers face cam. Sometimes the face cam blocks information on the screen that viewers would like to see. Giving the viewer the ability to toggle on and off the streamers face cam on the screen (similar to live chat) it would make the viewers experience a lot more enjoyable. Or being able to adjust the opacity to see through and see what's "hiding" behind the streamers face cam.

10. Being able to block the channel instead of the user

    Being able to block the channel with the 3 dots below the video feed instead of having to go into the chat user list and select the block user from the 3 dots there AFTER selecting their portrait. It took me awhile to figure out I needed to do this. Also I wouldn't mind still being able to see the streamers text in other channels I just don't want to be watching their streams or have them show up in recommended channels. Thank you for reading.

11. Changing speed of videos

    Please add a feature to change the speed of the stream/video. I have trouble understanding people when they talk too fast and being able to slow it down is so helpful.

12. Theater Mode shortcut change

    Change the key biding for theater mode from ALT+T to just T which is currently unused by any feature on basic twitch and keeps it in line with other shortcuts like F for Fullscreen or M for Mute. The reason is Firefox uses ALT+T to open the Tools tab in the files menu, the file menu tab is opened by pressing ALT while Firefox is the main window. To override this setting it requires manually disabling it by editing the configuration of Firefox or getting an unregulated extension from outside of twitch to edit it automatically.

    Здравствуйте. Предложение по поводу страницы создания клипов. С некоторых пор и в полной версии и в мобильной версии обновился интерфейс создания клипов. Раньше при создании клипа можно было выбрать качество видео, в котором клип будет воспроизводиться, при предпросмотре. На текущий момент - мало того что нельзя выбрать качество, так ещё и параллельно с полноэкранной версией на страницу создания клипа добавили версию для телефона. Таким образом на одной странице грузится сразу 2 окошка трансляции в максимальном качестве. И всё начинает жутко тормозить, и это невозможно исправить. Дело не в скорости интернета (у меня 100 мбит/сек, проводной интернет). Дело в том, насколько страница нагружает мой ноутбук. До этого изменения я спокойно создавал клипы. Я понимаю, что у вас в офисе Twitch стоят крутые компьютеры. Но немалая часть вашей аудитории пользуется Twitch со слабого ноутбука. Или с телефона. Я люблю создавать клипы на Twitch. Но это обновление убивает меня. Ведь то, что раньше занимало пару минут, теперь занимает не меньше 10 минут. Отпадает всякое желание создавать клип, из-за зависания страницы. И я повторюсь. Многие люди заходят на Twitch чтобы посмотреть как другие люди играют, потому что у них нет игрового мощного компьютера. Я в том числе, захожу посмотреть как люди играют в требовательные современные игры. И хочу поддерживать стримера, которого я смотрю, создавая клипы с интересными моментами. Однако теперь, когда страница создания клипа просто зависает, я не могу поддерживать любимого стримера, которого смотрю уже больше 6 лет. Я понимаю что вы потратили время и ресурсы и хотели сделать как можно лучше. Но я прошу вас добавить возможность выключить окошко мобильной версии при создании клипа. Я думаю основная проблема в том, что сразу 2 окна с предпросмотром очень сильно нагружают ноутбук и браузер. Когда я создаю клип с телефона в приложении Twitch - таких проблем нету. Прошу заметить, что далеко не все зрители создают клипы. Например у стримера, которого я смотрю - в среднем 1000 зрителей на трансляции и 230000 подписчиков(followers). Но клипы создают около 15 человек из всего числа зрителей. Т.е. это около 0,006% от общего числа зрителей. Хочется верить, что вы прислушаетесь к моей просьбе и вернёте мне возможность создавать клипы без зависаний и проблем.

15. Followers only Mode

    The Idea is to show users that are following a channel at least for a second or two that the channel is in followers only mode. So if you visit a channel in followers only mode and your following it just gives a friendly reminder the mode its in.

17. Game Category Past Broadcast Archive Duration Filter

    Past Broadcast archive "Sort=Duration" filter to view the longest VODs at the top of the list of Past Broadcasts.

    There is a problem with users publishing many very short VODs and it is cluttering the Most Recent filter of the Past Broadcasts archive in all game categories.

    Better filters will help users find long VODs without digging past all of the short spam VODS... Twitch seems unaware of short VOD spam accounts. It's a problem.

    Give recognition to people that put in the time to actually stream. Ignore the spammers.

    Hey im an occasional user who would just watch for twitch drops i came back to try and get the finals drops, but the video game category doesnt display the games that are streaming anymore just the popular ones. how am i supposed to find the finals now and get my drops if it isnt in the top 5? i dont know any the finals streamers. what the **** is going with this site this used to be easy...

    Améliorer le visuel des curseurs en cas de thème sombre des navigateurs
    sur navigateur si on bascule en thème sombre les curseurs des ascenseurs et certains boutons ne changent pas en blanc ( sont en noir forcé dans les styles css )
    et on se retrouve avec des éléments noirs sur fond noir .

    il faut modifier les styles css pour les éléments forcés en noirs sur le fond blanc afin d'ajouter la condition du thème du navigateur utilisateur .

    I think future twitch drops would be beneficial for twitch because if you know what drops are going to come out ahead of time you would be able to generate more views because people actually know what's going to come and can prepare
