Built-in Text-to-Speech for Chat
An amazing feature to add would be built-in text-to-speech (TTS) for chat. This feature would not only help those with disabilities, but it would also help the average streamer focus on their game a lot more instead of having to glance over at OBS to read chat.
As a streamer with a visual impairment myself, I struggle to read chat and play a game at the same time because I can't simply glance over to my OBS window like the average streamer can. Instead, I have to fully lean in to the chat window in order to read it which means I can no longer focus on the game I am playing. If I'm playing a fast-paced game like Overwatch 2 or Apex Legends, my visual impairment makes it almost impossible to play decently while interacting with chatters.
If built-in TTS for chat was available I would be able to enable it and listen to chat instead of having to look at it. This would allow me to completely focus on my game while still being able to interact with my community. Also, this would help the average streamer as well because they would no longer have to glance at chat every now and then. They could simply listen to chat instead.
Some additional features that could be added to this built-in TTS functionality could be toggles for things like "Read Names" or "Read Symbols" so that users could customize what the TTS reads out, message or word highlighting so that users know where the TTS is reading from within the chat, and even the ability to change the TTS voice so users can listen to their chat being read by UK Brian's wondrous voice.
Sorry to write an essay for a feature request, but I feel really strongly that this feature should be added and hopefully sooner rather than later. It would help so many streamers to better interact with their communities while they play their favorite game. Thanks!
