Muting music in Twitch Studio
What just occurred to me.
I use streamlabs.
If I put Spotify on a different soundtrack & then mute it in the recording function (when I record it to make a video for myself) then I can hear music in the stream but the music would be missing in the recording. Wouldn't that be great for Twitch Studio?
If you would combine that directly with uploading the Vod?
Theoretically, you could listen to music in the stream and when you upload it, the music is excluded directly because the music track was muted in the settings. In VOD that means there is no music and you could use it for other social media things such as YouTube/facebook or whatever. By the way, it's not just about the Gema or DMCA. It would also be great if you want to use it for later videos and add other music.
Hi there,
Apologies for the time it's taken to review your suggestion. I'd like to let you know this is possible with the installation of the Advanced Audio Mixer, as this feature allows you to mute on an app-basis. This is an in-app installation available by heading to your Twitch Studio general settings under Audio. For more information, please head over to our help article.

Nearly 18 months and no reply from Twitch. Now that's how you promote your platform

I want to be able to block audio from certain apps like Spotify from entering the stream. That way, I can listen to music and stream without having to worry about copyright infringement. If you could make this a feature, it would help streamline the solution for your users. In turn, making the community happy, and it could prevent newcomers from being deterred.

That means I simply have a VOD completely without music, but can hear EVERYTHING I want during the stream & I am not dependent on the music from "Soundtrack by Twitch".
It would be great not only for music but also for teamspeak, for example. if you shouldn't hear them in VOD.
Best example: You play Among us and want to play with the community.
Somebody new comes in and drops some racist ****. For this you can be banned although it´s not your fault...
But if you can mute the track for VOD you don't have to a) delete your entire VOD immediately and b) Twitch would really help us "creators". Or am I wrong?
And they would bring their Twitch Studio app forward with it for weeks ...
That's my train of thought ... -
