Add a feature to turn off the power-up feature
What if a streamer doesn't want the power-ups to clutter up their channel points?

I want to have control over what appears on my stream.

I love the Idea of this but if definitely needs some changes. As stated, individually toggleable would be a must. We also need a way to view the celebration on other broadcasting software's so we can monitor what's happening on our screens if we don't use the twitch dashboard.

Power Ups and celebrations are just going to annoy people.

As many other people have said here and in response to the tweet, can we please have the option to toggle the individual rewards on and off, or a toggle that allows us to turn all of them off at once.
I don't like not having control over things in my stream that are potentially disruptive, and for any other alert, feature, or screen disruption alert can be switched off by the streamer for those situations that you don't want that sort of thing enabled. And people, even those with the best of intentions still use what they can to have a bit of fun or announce themselves to the streamer (For instance if you're co-streaming and something important is being spoken about)
As Paimonxx says too, the channels that are quieter spaces, or ones that have a streamer or audience who are easily overstimulated don't need this.
I appreciate the value of what you're bringing to the table, but please let individual streamers have control over what they want active in their streams.

it's so insane that features keep being introduced with no option to opt out, I can't even imagine why they don't just let us have options

Remove the useless power ups or allow us to disable them. They just add useless clutter to the stream and are very distracting. Its the continuing trend of abject ******** ideas by twitch. No one asked for this ********. Stop the enshittification.

Introducing a default on, visually disruptive "feature", with NO OPTION to disable it is beyond incompetent. It's STUPID.
Who the **** is making these decisions? Buffoonery. -

Powerups are far more disruptive than they are welcome. Streams of all sizes have been observed maxing out the price of all Powerups to limit the effects they can have on stream audio, stream video, and Chat. Since the emote usage within a Powerup is not limited to the emotes of that streamer only, someone looking to abuse the feature can enter a Chat and bombard them with emotes that incessantly flash or are considered inappropriate. In general, any new feature should be implemented with the option to disable it should that be needed or wanted by streamers for any reason, and past experience has shown that a simple monetary gate is not enough to dissuade trolls from abusing features on Twitch. "Consistent user experience" is not a good enough reason to force all Twitch users to deal with the disruption and the sensory overload that comes with Powerups.

Currently, the way Power-Ups work is kinda annoying, both for users and for Streamers.
There is barely any control over them for Streamers, and particularly "On-Screen Celebration" can be very disruptive to the Stream, which some Streamers might have problems with.
Having ways to disable them would be very useful, and shouldn't be too difficult to add either. For users, tying it to the Channel Point system is just cluttering that UI up more than it needs to. I think a lot of people would rather have Channel Points and Bits split...
That they look so similar to Channel Point Redemptions also means some people might click on them by accident, which is bad.
So putting it into the Cheers Menu might be a better place for it.I think The Power-Up Concept has a lot of promise, but it needs more control for the Streamer and more usability.

This new bits "feature" that lets users spam the screen with emotes is terrible. If you insist on keeping it, please let users or at least channels disable it.

Agreed, being able to toggle off each option instead of just having to set the price to 10k is way more user friendly and should always have been an option from launch. It's our channels, we should be in control of how people interact with it in the same way that point rewards can be activated/deactivated.
Additionally, the potential for these to be more disruptive than helpful is extremely high. I would rather turn off things like On-Screen Celebration than set a ridiculous price on it.
Some streams are not meant to be overstimulation station. Please consider other types that are not high-energy spaces as well.

Aggreed, same as https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/921826-bits/suggestions/48536642-let-us-disable-on-screen-celebration-power-up
The channel point menu is already a pain to manage, this is just making it so people who do not want these features enabled, have to make them hellishly expensive and completely waste room in the already overburdened menu.
