Add a feature to turn off the power-up feature
What if a streamer doesn't want the power-ups to clutter up their channel points?

Let streamers have the option to turn off this garbage feature if they don't want it.

So basically: I hate the power-ups that have *just* been added to Twitch, and would really like to outright not see them. I am not ever going to use power-ups, or bits, for whatever stream, and all I see it as is both bad advertising (I do NOT want to be reminded I can process a transaction each time I go to redeem a hydrate for whichever streamer I am watching) and bad design, as it makes me have to take longer to do what I want.

Any feature that can take over the screen or the chat should be able to be controlled by the streamer. On/Off is a bare minimum. Individual On/Off would be ideal. The ability for people to harass streamers with this is evident, especially since Twitch's emote policy isn't clear, and isn't even followed by Twitch staff, removing "legal" emotes they already approved and allowing "illegal" ones.

Please let me toggle which of these I want on and which I want off. I do not mind the gigantify or highlighted chat message, but the emote spam is one that people *already* have as options via overlays, and one I have chosen not to implement into my streams. Give us toggles.

"we want a consistent viewer experience" this was pretty consistently not asked for
humiliating decision. multi billion dollar corporation by the way

This idea needs to be scrapped. Viewers can't watch unwatchable content. Not to mention no one will want to put any kind of twitch content up on other websites if their screen is cluttered with emotes.
This completely oversteps the boundaries of entertaining an audience to letting people be obnoxious instead. Please reconsider either putting this in the trash can or enabling streamers to disable this option.
This option does not help Twitch in the long run.

Please let the streamers decide what we want to see on our channels. I can see this functionality getting abused to troll streamers rather than celebrate with them.

The chat highlight (the one with the gradient) is realistically the only one that I would actively use on my stream but the problem is, I don't want to use the other one with the bouncing emotes.
Please allow disabling these independently as well as each of the various power ups.

As someone with very strong ADHD and many people around me like that as well, having a stream we like get covered in emotes we didn’t know or want to know get spammed across the viewing space is not the best experience as our eyes often go onto these distractions against our will even if it’s the stream itself that we care about. And for some of us that engage in communities with active ADHD people, being able to turn this off as a streamer is a definite must. This also applies to the text effect and the huge emote as we tend to see things out of the ordinary or thing in contrast way more clearly. So please allow us to turn this off individually or even completely as this would help us greatly, and lessen the annoyance for a lot of us.

The chat box stuff is ok I guess..The screen overlay stuff with emotes is not cool. very gross feature. we have no control and its not great for all streams. it will invalidate a speedrun and other timed/ judged events if emotes cover the time. This being an auto ON feature is ****.

Yet another "feature" that no one asked for, that we get forced into, with no way of disabling at the time of writing this comment.

We mainly record podcasts via Twitch, and since we are recording for later broadcast in other mediums (mainly audio-only) we don't do alerts or any other distractions. We wait and acknowledge those who cheer or sub at the end, rather than constantly throughout our programming. This is forcing an immediate disruption into our content that we cannot turn off. Please give us the OPTION of disabling them, much like how we have the OPTION of disabling channel point redemption.

I should have control over what things I want to be redeemed on my channel. I have things set up just how I like it and want a way to turn this feature off.
