More control over bits messages
I'd suggest a tool so mods could accept or deny a bit message.
It happens that your streamer wants to roleplay but the chat is doing metagaming, right? Well, I used to think that sub mode or emote mode could've solved it, but there is always that enlightned user who sends bits and messes it up.
This case is the softiest. You also have hateful donos or spam that banning is not enough because if text-to-speech is enabled, the streamer ends up knowing.
At first my idea was to put all bits messages in automod queue so mods read them, accept them or not, but it's true that some streamers receive hundreds of donations so it could really be annoying.
So my final plan is to have a switch that allow the moderators:
- Have control over all bit messages,
- Have control over messages with banned words,
- Not have control over bits at all.
Of course, if message is rejected, they get their bits back.
And this would be managed by the channel's owner.
Thank you and have a nice day!
69420% supported, let's make this happen
I was just talking about this on stream with my community the other week and glad to know someone has already suggested this, big yes to all of the above
I'd like to see a streamer be able to red X certain words and either reject the shout out, if it's 1 red X, possibly let it through with that 1 word beeped out.
Also, regarding getting TTS toxicity, maybe Twitch could add a sub-Mod category for long time members who would only have the ability to review TTS messages. All of the people doing it would have the TTS that they've approved or not approved logged for the streamer in case you have someone you need to replace.
Muy necesario para controlar la toxicidad y el metagaming. Tiene mi apoyo.
Bastante necesario, ojalá lo habiliten.
This is indeed a very good idea and would really help us all moderating bits properly.
Es una muy buena idea para tener un mejor control del MG y también se puede evitar cuando les cae hate 💜
