Option to disable Extensions on all streams
Extensions usually aren't related to what the streamer is streaming.
Extensions do not work properly for me.
Extensions prevent me from watching streams.
My biggest issue right now is I will not be able to view or hear a stream... Instead I get one of three error messages. In order to get the stream to work I clear my browser (Internet Files/Cache), return to Twitch, Relogin, Visit the Stream, again, and get one of those errors, again. I think repeat the process up to 27 times before the Video and Audio will work for me.
Due to this I am not able to use or enjoy Twitch much these recent weeks. Since I cannot seem to use Extensions and they are preventing me from using Twitch I would just like to disable them universally. This would have no effect on the streamers using them since I cannot use Extensions. It would just stop the Extensions from hindering me or stop them from preventing me to use Twitch.

there should be an option for the user to handle the extension on the top for the streamers so they can easily manage it like (http://apkcrowl.com/) on the other hand you can block this from twitch ad blocker

i'm on your side .. the extension are so useless but always enabled! when i start to watching streams it always lags so hard... Just when i hide all extension it works fine...
i thought it was a cool feature at beginning but actually it's just a burden and annoying... i mean i never needed one and still enjoyed the streams.
Please don't do things that bring you back to the start... You were a platform in perfection...
maybe it works on new PCs, but please! I'm here for watching streams ... so let me and don't ruin it with some random apps which nobody would have need...

So much agreed. These should be like Chrome extensions. Users should decide to want the extension and have it has a preference not as a mandatory feature that users MUST endure.
Extensions are just clutter. You can either have a good streaming service or you can have a jumbled mess.

Please either remember when we turn them off or give us an option to turn them off. I know some of them make twitch money but seeing them twice doesnt make me want to buy more (warchest for sc2 for example) and having to click out of them each times makes me want to watch twitch less.

I dont have a problem with extensions causing my browser issues but they are a serious pain in the ass. I'm actively seeking out ways to block them with browser extensions but I'd love to have a real profile preference for doing it. I'd rather not use anything related to adblockers on twitch so I can support the content creators but these are a real eye sore.

Twitch extensions are modern day popups. I don't know why any streamer would want to use them, none the less why any viewer would want to see them on their screen. I shouldn't have to resort to adblock to disable extensions on all streams, give me an option in my settings.

I agree, extensions in general add no value to the streams I am watching, they are just meant to be attention grabbers for those that aren't already actively participating. That being said, there are many times I don't want to actively participating and would rather just lurk and watch the stream in extensions in this case just block the content on the stream and force me to manually disable them. Not to mention if I switch between streams, I have to disable them on each stream and even re-dsiable them on streams I am returning to. I would much rather just have the ability to turn all extensions to invisible to default.

Allow the ability for viewers to disable or hide extensions that place additional elements on top of a streams media player.
An option should be ideally placed in the 'extensions' player menu.
