Option to disable chat on iOS. Chat causes lag on my old iPad, did not have this problem in old version of twitch app. Please give the option to turn off chat not just minimise it.

Differentiate live streams and re-runs in iOS widget Currently the iOS 14 widget shows both live streams and re-runs the same way – with a red circle icon. It would be nice if re-runs had their own visual presentation, so it'd be possible to tell them apart.

Creators who are properly broadcasting a Rerun will display a looping gray arrow icon in the left nav and search and display a Rerun label on their channel page instead of the red dot icon and Live label.

Play stream sound if iOS iPhone app is in background TheiOS iPhone app stops playing sound if app is in background or screen is locked. This interrupts the stream all time if a iMessage/... is received and I need to reply.
Twitch app should work like other sound playing apps and stream the sound in background too.

You should be able to update your chat appearance within the mobile app by clicking on the three vertical dots to the right of the emote icon, and then on "Identity" to modify which badges show by your name both globally, and on the channel! Hope that helps!

A update for iOS twitch to stop ending streams for no reason I want to be able to stream continuously ends on end like from 4hr to 10 or 48 hrs I want twitch To let us stream without worrying that our stream might end or not without us ending it for ourselves it’s unfair because it affects the affiliate achievements by a lot please twitch fix this problem everytime I stream it ends for no rescan saying there has been of error and it only happens on iOS because of iOS 14 please fix this cause it would mean a lot to many of us

Picture in Picture stops randomly after watching for a while pip window closes even though stream and app still open.

Sidebar is not useful The new sidebar takes up lots of screen space, often shows outdated channel list. I can hide it but it would come back the next time the app is opened.
I also can’t swipe right from edge to the screen to go back anymore, it will just bring up the sidebar.
Please remove the sidebar.

Make Twitch player fullscreen, and put an optional chat on the side for devices with resolutions above 1920x1080. The mobile device that I mainly stream Twitch on is a OnePlus 5T. This device's resolution is 2160x1080, at an 18:9 aspect ratio. If the player were to stay at a side of the display at a 1920x1080 resolution, and the chat at the other side (at a resolution of 240x1080), it would lead to a much more interactive experience. The chat would also be optional, and the viewer would be centered in the middle of the screen at a resolution of 1920x1080, similar to how it works right now if chat were to be toggled off of its fullscreen…

glitch I don’t necessarily know if it’s my iphone or not, but recently every 10-15 minutes when i’m watching a stream the mobile app will glitch and freeze, i have to close out every few minutes. Ive talked to other people and they’re all having the same issue.

Fix live notifications Many times, if not every time my streamers I follow and have notifications on, go live I’m not notified. The app doesn’t notify my via the app that they are live. I have missed many streams. It’s annoying. Why the change all of the sudden.

Manually pick resolution for iOS For some reason my resolution only goes up to 432p. I've tried other streaming apps and perfectly get anywhere from 720 to 1080p. Can we please fix this?!
