  1. Twitch embed loading more ads than stream

    Really, who approved this. We bitched about this and now you refer us to this new place, killing off the discussion thread we had before. Hoping we let it slide. You are actively creating this problem and are unwilling to fix it.

    Test was concluded, results are in. We are not nagging our external users enough. That seems to be the conclusion of last months 'extensive' testing.

    Providing interstitials that match the timing of pre-roll and mid-roll ads on a channel have been added as an improvement in November 2022. https://discuss.dev.twitch.com/t/an-updated-twitch-embedded-player-viewer-experience/41718

  2. Bring back a function similar to .getPlaybackStats()

    I would like to work with embeds, and more specifically a way to get how much the current player's stream latency is. From what I can tell, player.getPlaybackStats() was the only way to do this, and is now deprecated, and returns null 99.99% of the time. (I was lucky to get it working once, but yeah, it's gone.)

  3. Expose VOD seek events

    I'd like to be able to know when a user seeks in a VOD that is embedded on my site. Ideally the event would contain the before/after timestamps so I can know the delta. Thanks!
