macOS Safari Playback issues
On macOS Ventura/Sonoma (May affect earlier versions and is on Apple Silicon) using the latest stable build of Safari, after watching a Twitch stream for so long, it either pauses or brings up the error refresh button or I am forced to refresh the page as a whole.
This has persisted over several formats of the entire system and seems to randomly happen with no consistency, it can happen every 5 minutes or even 60 seconds-ish or sometimes not happen at all although rare.
I have tested this with and without extensions as well as enabling all Preview features in Safari to see if it was a technology support issue. This is default, unmodified macOS, testing with and without Private Relay.

The player issues still exist with the latest macOS (26.5) and Safari versions. No issues with chromium based browsers.

SIM card registration is a regulatory process adopted by many countries to ensure that the identities of all mobile phone users are verified and recorded. When purchasing a SIM card, individuals are required to provide personal details such as their name, address, and a government-issued ID number. The main objective of this process is to improve security by preventing criminal activities, such as fraud and terrorism, which can be enabled through anonymous communication. By linking SIM cards to verified identities, authorities can trace calls and messages to specific individuals, supporting law enforcement and crime prevention efforts. Additionally, SIM card registration helps reduce the misuse of telecommunication services and enhances public safety. I have had the same issue for a while, and turning off the low latency setting seems to have fixed it for me.

Same exact issue. I hate how little support webkit/Safari gets from major websites.

Experiencing playback issues with Safari on macOS Ventura/Sonoma, especially with Twitch streams, can be frustrating. The problem, which causes streams to pause or display refresh errors, seems inconsistent and occurs randomly. You've tested various settings, including extensions and Preview features, without finding a consistent solution. For more tips and solutions on MacBook issues, visit https://macbook-repair-dubai.ae/

Does Safari's private mode affect saving podcasts and broadcasts, files, and stuff like that? I thought it was only used to not save the browsing history and such. I tried googling how people use private mode, but I only found guides https://setapp.com/how-to/private-browsing-in-safari-on-iphone-ipad-mac on how to enable this mode on different macOS versions. By the way, it's actually harder to enable it on a Mac than on an iPhone.

Same for me…I'm on MacBook Air M1 with Sonoma 14.4.1. I really don't want to use another browser, but this is driving me crazy.
