Launch Middle East/Pakistani Servers For Twitch

Dear Sirs,

I am from Karachi, Pakistan and I am unable to stream properly on twitch as i get high latency on it so please launch Middle east /Pakistani servers for twitch. Due to the unavailability of these servers. I am either directed to Mumbai, Singapore or EU servers on which i get 140ms plus ping if there will be middle east servers. I will be getting around 10 to 40ms ping which would be perfectly fine for low latency streams.

As Pakistan is the 6th most populated country in the world and the increase in gamers/streamers in Pakistan is rapid so it is necessary for you guys to take these feedback seriously if you dont take action against this now then Pakistanis will be forced to stream on other platforms like Mixer, YouTube etc and grow their community there.

    bruhhh. not even 1 server have lower ping in pakistan. all have ping above 150ms

    Yeah Pakistan needs this. I have 40mbps upload rate and I can't stream properly on Twitch, it's BS.

    im from dubai and its impossible to stream in 1080p60 here. due to the best server being from france it causes huge stability issues. really sad i have to switch to youtube because of no middle east servers

    I found this thread and facing the same issues.

    I run a double stream-pc Setup and only when I use a NORD-VPN to Singapore and use the twitch singapore server, i can stream with an acceptable quality of an CBR with 4000-5000 kb/s, but not always. The framedrop (up to 50%) and the pixelation is not acceptable for the high end setup I have. Its only up to the servers which are not present here close or IN the UAE.

    Please please provide a Server as suggested in the comments .. in UAE and India. It would be awesome!

    Bumping this thread to make it somewhat more noticeable, as it's been 3 years since this thread was made, and no progress or news has been released regarding a middle eastern server addition. (e.g like Bahrain).

    Add Middle East servers please. My streams are unwatchable and very pixelated due to no Middle Eastern servers.

    I am unable to stream with more than 800kbps bitrate despite the fact that I have 250mbps upload speed, Middle-Eastern ingest servers are a must not only for the community but also for a smoother experience to everyone on the platform.

    Its 2022 and still there are no ingest servers for middle east .. or even a good enough stable close one ... Cant believe this >.> !

    Best way to stream from the Middle East is to use Restream, I been doing it and I had no issues streaming at 6k bitrate and 1080p! For some reason it works, so for now anyone who is from this region just use Restream and you should be good.

    Twitch streaming is horrible around Middle East. I literally get 8 seconds latency on 160p, even though I have a 120Mbps connection. wth ?!?!

    Yes, definitely. They should a server in UAE, India, Pakistan, etc. This will help with the growing amount of viewers from this area.

    It's 2022, and for some reason, there is still a lack of Middle Eastern/Pakistani servers that we from Pakistan could connect to & stream on Twitch without no issues. And yet, we still are forced to connect servers such as Singapore where people from Pakistan get around 140ms ping & are capped to 3.9k - 4.1k bitrate no matter the speed of our internet due to the server's location. Not only that, but even if we decide to stream under these conditions, the quality & stable rate is so terrible, it's a lucky day if my stream can even start sometimes without dropping frames.

    Yes, I've tried other platforms with higher bitrate (1080p60fps) streams, and they work fine.

    So I request, please added middle eastern/Pakistani servers so we can stream on Twitch with ease and build our platforms there.
