(South) African Twitch Ingest Server
It would be great if you guys could set an African, or South African, server up at some point in the not-too-distant future. I live in South Africa and have a really hard time streaming to any of the EU, let alone the NA or Asian ones. Currently YouTube has streaming servers here but it just isn't the same streaming to YouTube Gaming. The Twitch community is what makes it what it is and not being able to run a stable stream from here in South Africa turns so many would-be streamers away from potential bright futures on Twitch.tv. We have a large community of gamers ready and waiting.
Please consider setting a server up for us down here or wherever else you can that's not too far. South Africa and the other countries nearby deserve a chance too! :D

Have mobile connection most of the time and watch/support other South African steamers but miss out alot due to slow connections that have to route though overseas and not local and max can do 160p to watch other streamers.

I have a 200mb line and I can hardly stream 480p on twitch. It basically makes me never use the app. Would be great to actually be able to consume 1080p content on twitch

South Africa has amazing content creators, and a local relay (Ingest) server would mean the world to not only the content creators but their community enjoying this their content! This might also help out other African continent creators as a potential closer option to EU based Ingests. Please Twitch make it happen, AWS has local foot print! Lets gooo!!!

custom server/relay option for twitch on console as we in South Africa does not have Twitch servers and struggle to get good quality streams. always have bandwidth issues due to not having South African Twitch servers and we need to use a custom relay server.

It would be so amazing if the Twitch relay servers in southafrica were supported or if a stream server could be setup here. I really want to use twitch studio but there are no official servers in southafrica yet

I have so many wonderful friends in South Africa who stream or who want to stream. It would be great for them to have better access to more stable connections to share their talents and passions with others.

We have AWS and Azure DCs in South Africa. This should be easy enough to spin up..
Getting the ingest and trancoding done locally would make sense and help distribute the load from the current ingest servers in EU.
