Equal and fair treatment for Vtubers moderation and transparency
Hello Twitch!
My name is Clawmaster and I am a Vtuber in the the Vtuber community and in the past month of September 2024, there has been a mass amounts of bans that has been placed on specifically Vtubers more so then usual. There is a growing concern within the Vtubing community is that we feel that Twitch is not equally handing out these bans rightfully.
Below I will link in the timestamps of Elara covering the entire situation in her Vtuber News show going over the amount of bans that have been handed out unjustly to give more context to the situation.
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2254228516?t=01h37m20s
The biggest thing not only Vtubers have been asking for, but everyone on this site wants and needs is more transparency in regards to what we can do to make our streams fit to what Twitch is needs and wants out of us. For as long as Twitch has been around, there has always been this aura of Twitch's rules and enforcement and everyone on the platform guessing what is right, and what is wrong. If Twitch wants to grow, and get more money, then help us, help you do that by being transparent with us. Without the streamers alone, Twitch will not be where it is today.
So I am asking you Twitch, we need better moderation of Vtubers since there seems to be a very distinct difference in how bans are handed out to Vtubers as to normal streamers on twitch, and if this continues, there will be more outcry from the community and will continue to voice our opinions to you until this issue is fixed. Mostly every Vtuber on this platform loves Twitch, and would like to stay here and the community at large, and all everyone wants is to make Twitch better at its job so you can thrive just as much as the Vtuber has in the past 4 years since it has blown up on the internet.
If your a vtuber reading this, share this around, post this on every reddit, forum, tweet, and get this up so that Twitch can take a look at this, and possibly reach out and ask for a meeting with us to discuss the current issue of affairs that is directly affecting a community that we all love to keep growing and thriving on the platform.
Thank you.

I'm not a VTuber, but a lot of my friends are, and Vtubers being emailed that they are using stolen information for bits after the false flags for sexual content is honestly not acceptable and irresponsible of Twitch.

How is it that there are Webcam streamers that can have barley any clothing or digitally edited clothing on and not get punishment but if a vtuber has a bathing suit for less than 5 minutes on they get violations repeatedly
And what of the "stolen bits" why are we now having a problem with vtubers specifically? I know a few people whe have never gotten any bits whatsoever and yet they face these repercussions.
I don't understand why vtubers are getting violations in an alarming frequency.

Twitch needs to increase its transparency and enforce its rules fairly. The double standards of banning or suspending Vtubers, for comparatively benign things compared to what alot of irl streamers do and dont get banned for has to come to an end.
If this site wants to grow accomplishing both those things and treating the Vtubing community better as a whole should be priority. Otherwise the Vtubers will leave and find a better alternative. -

This double standard NEEDS to be stopped ASAP. Otherwise, VTubers will make a better alternative eventually.

Your moderation needs to change, you allow IRL streamers to be almost fully nude or have *** cameras. Meanwhile vtubers can’t even show a tiny bit of skin without the risk of being given a warning or banned.
Do better Twitch.

Vtubers and non-vtubers are getting Targeted by garbled text names that are bad actors that create alts to falsely report people in the space , in the past 24 hours over 20+ vtubers have been reported and others who are not are also getting reported , you need to make this right Twitch because this isnt it , along with shady vtuber dresscode and the mistreatment of vtubers as a whole , people are also getting reported for false sexual misconduct and now being falsely accused of Twitch bit fraud????, come on i thought twitch was trying to move forward not backwards

Twitch will actively promote IRL streamers who shake their *** for money and wear the skimpiest "outfits" known to man and on top of that will make a whole new category they can abuse just so they won't be in trouble (let's be honest, "Pools, Hot Tubs and Beaches" was invented for this exact reason, bffr), but god forbid a vtuber EXISTS or shows a hint of skin or acts the slightest bit sus and they will be banned without so much as an explanation as to why other than a vague categorical reason.
Either remove **** from your website entirely or moderate equally, make up your **** minds.

Vtubers are people too, they bring income to Twitch as well as exposure. It's good for your brand and marketing to treat them better.
If you can't even look at this as a positive from a business standpoint, things will get worse as you'll loose viewers. Start treating us better.

You're reporting system needs a serious update, and how you treat and pay your streamers needs to seriously be looked at

IRL streamers in the "Pools, Hot Tubs and Beaches" category can prance around in skimpy bikinis and blatantly promote their NSFW content on other sites in stream titles with no repercussions, but a Vtuber's model shows just a little too much animated skin in the "wrong" place and they get suspended. The double standard is astounding.

Additionally. I am only on Twitch for Vtubers. While this community is niche, it is growing rapidly. We deserve the same respect as other streamers.
