Allow Mod Comments to be Edited/Removed + Mod Comment Log/Record

Implementing a flagging/warning system would probably be too complicated, so in the meantime I regularly add "Keep an eye on" messages via Mod Comments as a reminder to myself and also to inform other Mods that a user has been flagged because they caught my attention - just not negatively enough to warrant banning them right away.

It would be nice to have a Log/Record of Mod Comments being added to a User Card because there's no way of knowing unless a Mod specifically communicates that they did so, or you happen to find out by opening the specific User's Card by chance. In chat alert like other Mod Actions is probably not necessary since no one is being banned yet, but at least within the Mod View's "MOD ACTIONS" widget would be nice.

There are times when first impressions are incorrect and with a polite reminder/warning some folks change and turn out to be a positive part of the community. It would be nice to be able to delete the Mod comment(s) to clear their record. Being able to check which accounts have Mod comments on their User Cards would make it possible to follow up on matters. With that ability, being able to mark Mod comments as positive/negative would be helpful because not all Mod comments are keeping track of negative things.

    Is it still not possible to edit/delete mod comments? This wish is more than 3 years old. I searched for an hour to see how this is working but unfortunately this isn't an option until now. Pleeeeassse make this happen asap. This is mandatory and an urgent need!

    With the addition of shared mod comments, it would also be useful to have a way to make a comment not shared anymore as sometimes mod comments can hold more sensitive information and a mod could accidentally share it with other teams.

    That's exactly my problem at the moment.
    I now have 2 mod comments that are not correct and
    are completely out of place and put a false burden on a viewer.

    I hadn't found a way to delete them myself
    Support writes to me that this doesn't work and they can't do it either.
    Which of course just means it's too much effort.

    But I don't understand why you can implement such a system
    that is good in itself, but the simplest one like editing,
    or at least Complete deletion of messages (from the same user)
    is not included. This defies any logic to me.

    So this is a really “urgent” request.
    Please install at least the most primitive variant as quickly as possible
    and allow your own(!) messages to be deleted!

    Yep mods should be absolutely able to remove mod comments made on a usercard, particularly with the shared ban lists as well. Things said in one community shouldn't always be transferred to another. I'd say with the implementation of shared ban lists this should absolutely be a priority

    It would be really nice to have the option for a moderator to be able to delete a comment made by another moderator in the mod comments section on user profiles. Alternatively, there could be an option to delete only the comment that the moderator themselves made.

    To add to this, an editing feature would be helpful - edit existing comments, add additional notes on a person, or updates (i.e. record of name changes, alternate accounts, etc.)

    I thought you could already remove them if needed. Just made one. It was wrong. Now I can't. THIS SHOULD'VE ALREADY BEEN INTEGRATED

    Ya know.. i'm sure people don't really use the mod comments thing. I'm sure Twitch will remove it something in the near future.

    the ability to delete and edit mod comments you or one of your mods have put on a user would be nice if you make a typo, make a mistake, or something just plain isn't true anymore
