Moderation Transparency Site
A big trend with peoples responses to streamers or users being moderated is the ‘unfairness’ of decisions made and the comparison to other situations while not being aware of the reason for the decisions made.
Suggestion: Create a central, public page, this can be searchable by userid, username (partial/full), message content (p/f). This allows you to find streamers, users, botnets, repeat offenders and provides you a page of the content that caused them to be flagged for moderation + their chat logs.
The details page should show the escalation stage of punishment that users were hit by, thus transparently explaining that certain actions were as a result of past actions as well. For example a 5 tier warning system, where repeat actions skip to tier 4-5 and are displayed as such, while small infractions might stay within lower tiers and thus explain lesser punishments for the same actions.
Ideally this can flag multiple users at the same time for review and reporting allowing mass moderation of botnets, ban avoidance and similar in a single action both for the user and the Twitch staff reviewing.
The reporting should also offer a 'promote to twitch moderation' option, where say a botnet message should get reviewed for addition to global filters directly. This can allow for users to report widespread issues which require largescale action well beyond the scope of a single channel.
