Allow only authorized viewers to stream
Hello! I'm relatively new to streaming. I've had fun using the platform and I look forward to continuing to grow my channel and meet new users. However, one of my friends and I have been running into an issue with streaming Jackbox Party Games.
We want people to be involved and play with us, but we are running into issues with trying to ban users that use vulgar language and racial slurs. While we can ban them if they are logged into their account, we can't keep them off of the stream and being able to participate if they just go to our Twitch channel in an incognito window or not logged in, etc. While we want people to come to the channels and watch our content, we want our content to not be compromised by random people who ruin it for everyone.
What I am proposing is a setting that only allows users who are logged in to view your stream. Similar to a followers-only chat, the feature or setting I am pitching would only allow people who are logged into their Twitch account to access the stream for viewing/interacting. I don't think that would be too hard to make work, and it would ensure that we could ban those users that are causing issues in our streams.
I am unsure if someone else in the community as brought up this idea or if this is already in the works, but we want to make the streaming community a great one. I personally really love what streaming has been able to do for me so far, and I only want to give back to those who enjoy my content. If this idea can please be considered and implemented, I think we could make the community an even better place.
