simultaneously Be able to report a user and ban them from chat
I'm dissatisfied with the tools/the power that twitch and streamlabs has given me to report trolls who sexually harass me in my stream. For instance, someone came into my live stream on 6/10/20 (somewhere between 8:40am and 10:00am eastern) and wrote in the chat: "what kind of **** do you like?" The bot immediately flagged the word '*' and asked me to choose allow or deny. So I pressed deny. I can't remember if I hit Ban or not on this person. But by doing that, I can't report the person now because it doesn't show their screen name any more on the chat log. It just says in the chat log: "/addblockedterm *". And without being able to report the person, now they just get to continue to troll other channels. You have 2 options for when people troll you: you hit accept just so you can get their screen name and get to report them (but then the vulgar language shows up in your chat), or you can press deny and not have their screen name to report them when the stream is over. It's almost as if they get a free pass to continue getting away with this behavior because you make it so hard to report them. (Because I pressed "deny" on what the troll is trying to say to me, their message and screen name won't show up at all in the chat logs on Nightbot.tv so I can't look up who to report now). When that bot catches inappropriate words in the chat and asks you to "allow" or "deny", there needs to be a third option to choose from that says "Report for Harassment". Because the current process right now to report trolls on Twitch is not straight forward. I find it difficult and convoluted. You need stronger tools to keep women safe from ****** harassment on Twitch. Even if the person has already been banned and or denied, there still needs to be a way to look up their screen name and report them. They need to be held accountable.
