How can we improve Moderation?

as a mod it would be helpful if i could talk to all the other mods without having to whisper them each individually once by one.....all we would have to do is type "/modchat <message>" and it would show up in chat like the ban, timeout, purge messages do. All mods can communicate without the rest of chat seeing it. Also, they can be pinned for important channel stuff like in discord, so any mod coming into chat can see what's new or changed with regards to the stream rules and such

    What is funny is that this was technically a thing in the past but it got removed since it wasn't being used as much. It was like stream chat ,sub chat and mod chat.

    I was thinking, add a whole separate chat for just mods so we can run commands for testing or whatever.

    So in the mod page there could be a moderator chat to discuss things going on in chat instead of having to use 3d party applications such as discord. It would be way more useful than using 3d party, when I moderate for a twitch channel chat goes super fast and its hard to communicate with other mods.

    Chat for Moderators in the Moderator View. As a Widget like predictions, so moderators can communicate without other platforms or the chat for all.

    you can talk with other mods and see who is bothering

    YES please ! like a +m on IRC (Twitch is based on it..)
    could be VERY usefull to clear chat and communicate with people important messages (during a crash, when you want to tell very important messages, etc...)

    You'd need to make sure it can't be viewed by chatters that have BTTV. It's a pain to delete messages and have 3/4 of chat be able to read it anyway.

    Typically in my experience, we keep a 'public' mod chat in discord which we a lot of times talk in during streams and a 'private' group DM where the streamer isn't involved for certain people we wanna keep an eye on we don't want the streamer to necessarily know we have issues with. Something like that in-house would be amazing. Though mod comments are helpful.

    Maybe a group chat for Mods within Whispers?
    Being able to pin it to the top of whispers would be important to me as well.
