Channel Revenue direct to Charity
Allow streamer the option to donate all channel revenue (subs, cheers, sales) directly to a charity. For maximum transparency the money could go from Twitch directly to the charity, and ideally maybe Twitch would consider taking a lesser percentage so that more of the money gets to the charity?

To revisit this topic, Dan Clancy has mentioned on his streams that all subs would be donated. I agree with this Idea and Dan's goal for his channel. I would appreciate if I could convert my Affiliate status to donating directly to Charities.

It would be a wonderful thing if you could automatically donate all of your earnings to the charity you set up a goal for on your channel.
I only became an affiliate for the other benefits, but I don't care about the money/income at all. It's a shame when it just sits around instead of being used for good. -

I demonetized this year in hopes of something like this! I would turn everything back on if people know their subs and bits were 100% going to charity! Already a great step in the right direction with the news here. Thank you!

Hola,
Gracias.

You should be able to make a charity option when your streaming. So the money doesnt go to the streamer but, it goes to charity and twitch. If you aren't able to put a credit card or paypal in you should be able to do this (no credit card or paypal needed). This would be very helpful, please and thank you for listening. :)

This is something similar to what has already been requested via this link a few years ago (Amazon Smile Charity Integration for bits/subs and broadcasts): https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310231-subscriptions/suggestions/19052218-amazon-smile-charity-integration-for-bits-subs-and
What I am suggesting is having an option for streamers to decide if they would like their payouts to either be sent to them directly, or if they would like 100% of their payouts be sent to a charity of their choosing. If ever implemented this can be selected by new Affiliates that are going through the application process by selecting where they would like to see their payouts go to, if they select the charity option a page would then appear showing the available charities that have been checked & approved by Twitch itself that the streamer could then select for 100% of their payouts to go to. For existing Affiliates or Partners this option could be found under the Affiliate/Partner options page where they can change between receiving the money directly, or giving it to a charity, this can be changed at any time back & forth and the switch would take full effect on the next available payout. This would be great to see if some streamers for example planned to do a month long charity event, they switch their payout option to going to a charity, they pick the charity they want the money to go to and then from the time after the last payout until the next available payout, all sub, bit & ad revenue that has been accumulated around that time would then be given to that said charity.
This would I feel be a wonderful thing to see be available on the platform, with Twitch and many of its streamers who have helped many wonderful charities & causes in the past having something like this be available for current Affiliate/Partnered streamers & also for new streamers who don’t want to do this for the money but would love to have the extra perks that Twitch provides for its Affiliates & Partners, having an option where 100% of all revenue made can be given to a charity would be a great thing to see become a reality. Getting subs & bits sent by your community where all of the money goes to a good cause plus you get all the perks such as emote slots, channel points, being able to upload videos etc would be a huge win win for streamers that are not Affiliates because they don’t want to do it for the money, but would really love to have the extra features.

instead of connecting a paypal directly to your account, I am hoping to put in place where all donations and subscription money goes directly to charities that are stated for that day. and the streamer can change which charity they would like to represent that day. this way. its all non profit. and there is no middle person. its all 100% directed into the charity accounts that can build and then be delivered at the end to the month via twitch and we can have a tally to see which charity raised the most this month. or which charities raised more last month and so on and so forth. like me and quite a few others, not every one can open a paypal due to personal reasons. and this can fill the gap for those people/

Create a way for streamers to be able to have to choice to give their half of the payout to a charity rather than themselves.

Extra Life streamer who hasn't gone to affiliate because I don't want to deal with tax implications. If all the proceeds went directly to my charity I would sign up for affiliate in a heartbeat.

this is a great idea for those who only stream as a charity streamer

I love this idea. For those of us who donate all revenue to charity this would really simplify things.
